DNA identification and important implications

Four out of ten alleged hijackers (of AA 11 and UA 175) have been positively identified though we don’t know their names as the FBI did withhold them.

http://www.nytimes.com/2008/09/21/us/21hijackers.html?_r=3&oref=slogin&ref=us&adxnnlx=1222012050-unQ1iwsKD9PKK1uKfjD%205w&pagewanted=print&oref=slogin

Extremely interesting is the statement of somebody who should know:

Robert Shaler, former head of the medical examiner’s forensic unit.

In “Who They Were,” his new inside account of the identification effort, Shaler writes that he believes the terrorists identified were in the back of the planes – and not the monsters who plowed the jets into the towers.

“I still doubt the pilots have anything remaining to collect or analyze,” he writes. “Likely, they were vaporized along with many of the innocent victims.”

http://web.archive.org/web/20051211124459/http://www.nydailynews.com/front/story/354992p-302463c.html

Now, based on the phone calls by Betty Ong and Madeleine Sweeney we do know that neither of the actually saw the hijackers outside the cockpit during the hijacking.

So we can conclude that four alleged hijackers of UA 175 remained in the back of the plane during the final minutes. Is the believable? Especially as the passengers were thinking about storming the cockpit?

Or one or several alleged hijackers of AA 11 remained in the back of the plane without being noticed by Ong or Sweeney (keep in mind that other flight attendants kept them updated with information and none mentioned the presence of an alleged hijacker).

Or Robert Shaler is wrong though he’s an expert.

And last but not least:

„For the World Trade Center site, with a much larger area to search and an initially undetermined number of victims, the F.B.I. identified the 10 terrorists’ DNA profiles from personal items, Mr. Kolko said, which included recovered luggage and cigarette butts left in a rental car. The unnamed DNA profiles of those terrorists were then supplied to the medical examiner’s office.“

http://www.nytimes.com/2008/09/21/us/21hijackers.html?_r=3&oref=slogin&ref=us&adxnnlx=1222012050-unQ1iwsKD9PKK1uKfjD%205w&pagewanted=print&oref=slogin

This sounds like a pretty obvious thing to do in an investigation.

Why wasn’t it done for AA 77 and United 93?

Timelines of the alleged hijackers: Summary of findings

Here a list of the results of the research on the 19 alleged hijackers.

Please read the files on the alleged hijackers you’re interested in for further information.

Proof of an alleged hijacker having a double:

Mohamed Atta

Marwan Al Shehhi

Very strong indications of an alleged hijacker having a double:

Jarrah

Hani Hanjour

Strong indications of an alleged hijacker having a double:

Khalid Almihdhar

Salem Alhazmi

Nawaf Alhazmi

Considerable indications of an alleged hijacker having a double:

Ahmed Alghamdi

Hamza Alghamdi

Waleed Al Shehri

Strong indications of an identity of an alleged hijacker created AFTER 911:

Abdulaziz Al Omari

Very strong indications that somebody with the same name entered the country before the official entrance date:

Saeed Alghamdi

Ahmed Alnami

Ziad Jarrah

Majed Moqed

Salem Alhazmi

Hani Hanjour

Khalid Almihdhar

Nawaf Alhazmi

Ahmed Alghamdi

Hamza Alghamdi

Marwan Al Shehhi

Satam Al Suqami

Fayez Banihammad

Mohamed Atta (according to Able Danger)

Marwan Al Shehhi (according to Able Danger)

Comment: The case of alleged hijackers clearly being in the US before their official entrance date is by far more than only a proof of an inaccurate investigation. It is far more than that. The entrance date are documented by INS papers. Therefore we can conclude that either these documents have been faked by the INS then we need to wonder what could be so important to cover up? Or the INS documents are authentic than we can conclude that one person with the name of an alleged hijacker did indeed enter the country while another person with the same name of an alleged hijacker was already in the US. So, it would be another proof of having two different people using the very same identity.

Very interesting is the case of Able Danger: As Atta, Al Shehhi, Almihdhar and Nawaf Alhazmi have been identified as a terrorist cell in January 2000 although Atta and Al Shehhi still were in Germany and Almhdhar and Nawaf Alhazmi only arrived mid-January in the US (but not in New York but in California) we can conclude that the persons being identified as possible terrorists can’t be the same that at the same time still lived in Germany or just arrived at the other coast of the US.

People having the same name as alleged hijackers having attended military schools in the US:

Saeed Alghamdi

Ahmed Alnami

Ahmed Alghamdi

Abdulaziz Al Omari

Mohamed Atta

Comment: Since the Pentagon said that the people attending the military schools are “probably” not the same as the alleged hijackers the media completely dropped this question although no clear answer has ever been given.

Alleged hijackers being at one point illegally in the US:

Khalid Almihdhar (since August 27, 2001)

Satam Al Suqami (since May 21, 2001)

Mohamed Atta

Nawaf Alhazmi

Hani Hanjour

Ziad Jarrah

Marwan Al-Shehhi

Timelines of the alleged hijackers: Introduction

Introduction :

Reading that even in January 2002 the FBI only publishes information on the 19 alleged hijackers using words as “perhaps” and “possible” over and over again and not even basic details are without doubt. It’s beyond me why the press doesn’t insist on having a definite list of the 19 with definite information. But apparently that’s too much asked for.

So, Team8+ has to do the job.

This folder contains files about all 19 alleged hijackers. The general idea is that creating a detailed timeline and collecting all pieces of information will allow to show that what officially is considered one person is often in fact two different persons having the same identity. Patsies at work.

How to use the files:

First of all the post: Summary will give you a quick overview about the results of the research.

Second: Each file begins with a summary on the findings. Who still wants more should read the comments in italics that sometimes follow timeline entries.

Third: The actual timeline serves to simplify the research. If you find an article indicating that the alleged hijacker X was at one point in the city Y you can quickly see if this is in contradiction with other reports.

Besides looking for where alleged hijackers were at what time it is also important to collect further information about their physical appearance, their ability to speak English etc.

For the official data on the alleged hijackers (at the beginning of all files) it was used:

FBI list from September 14, 2001:

www.fbi.gov/pressrel/pressrel01/091401hj.htm

FBI list from September 27, 2001:

www.fbi.gov/pressrel/pressrel01/092701hjpic.htm

FBI list from January 17, 2002:

web.archive.org/web/20020201195431/http:…s.faa.gov/fbiphotos/

(this site is very slow! If you fail try again or use www.archive.org)

and the finnlist.

cryptome.org/Finnlist.pdf

The finnlist needs a few explanations:

On October 3, 2001 “a CONFIDENTIAL FBI list of 370 people suspected of helping Osama bin Laden’s terrorist network has leaked out. The names, addresses, telephone numbers, e-mail, and social security codes of the suspects were posted on the internet by Finland’s Financial Supervision Authority (RATA). When the error was spotted, the website was shut down. The list was put together by the FBI and European counter-terrorism agencies for use in tracking down the bank accounts, assets, and money flows of the al-Qa’eda network.

www.telegraph.co.uk/news/main.jhtml?xml=…1/10/06/wbush106.xml

Administration sources confirmed to UPI Thursday that a list of “close to 400 names” had been circulated to European authorities, with a request for financial and other searches. Diplomatic sources said that the list initially had been circulated to them from the U.S. Justice Department.

(UPI, 10/11/01)

The files on the alleged hijackers are far from being complete but hopefully a good starting point for adding material and for coming to some conclusions already.

For the moment much research of important 911-researchers hasn’t been included for the simple reason that it would have taken even more time to open the threads. Therefore please feel free to post material.

Last but not least I wish to thank for Team8+ for the support of this work!

Many thanks also to Mathias Bröckers and Andreas Hauss who have done groundbreaking work in their book for showing that there are two Attas, two Hanjours and two Jarrahs.

A very big thank you to Paul Thompson who didn’t hesitate a second to allow the use of many many of his timeline entries! (In fact all the paragraphs without any grammatical mistake are the one copied for Paul’s Timeline ☺) and who has written an amazing article on the two Jarrahs.

22 questions concerning the alleged hijackers

HOW WAS THE IDENTITY OF THE ALLEGED HIJACKERS UNCOVERED?

This was explained under oath during a hearing of the 9/11 commission.

Robert Bonner, the head of Customs and Border Protection, said under oath :

»We ran passenger manifests through the system used by Customs—two were hits on our watch list of August 2001 (…) And by looking at the Arab names and their seat locations, ticket purchases and other passenger information, it didn’t take a lot to do a rudimentary link analysis. Customs officers were able to ID 19 probable hijackers within 45 minutes. (…) I saw the sheet by 11 a.m. And that analysis did indeed correctly identify the terrorists.”

(New York Observer, 2/12/04)

online: www.apfn.net/messageboard/02-16-04/discussion.cgi.17.html

www.9-11commission.gov/archive/hearing7/…aring_2004-01-26.htm

Pretty impressive. And pretty quick indeed.

Yet here comes the first question.

1.

One day after 9/11 John Ashcroft said there were three to six hijackers on each plane.

www.msnbc.com/news/627214.asp?cp1=1#BODY

(Los Angeles Times, 9/13/01)

Who were the alleged hijackers that at first weren’t suspected for sure?

Who were the five passengers that were possible suspects?

2.

On a sworn in FBI affidavit from September 12 we read:

»A review of the public database for Al Omari has determined that his address is reported as 4032 57th terrace, Vero Beach, Florida.»

www.abc.net.au/4corners/atta/resources/d…s/fbiaffidavit11.htm

As it turned out this was Abdul Rahman Al Omari who had left the US one week prior to 9/11.

How come that this victim of a similarity of his name to Abdulaziz Al Omari had a not very innocent connection?

»Alomari had listed two vehicles as authorized to park in his parking space. One of this vehicles is registered to Atta.”

www.abc.net.au/4corners/atta/resources/d…s/fbiaffidavit11.htm

www.abc.net.au/4corners/atta/resources/d…s/fbiaffidavit12.htm

And given the fact that Al Omari’s passport was found in Atta’s bag in Logan Airport why didn’t this lead to the “correct” hijacker right from the start?

www.9-11commission.gov/archive/hearing7/…aring_2004-01-26.htm

3.

In the mid-day of September 12 six names had appeared in the media as possible hijackers. Besides Atta and Al Shehhi we find some less known names:

Adnan and Ameer Bukhari, Ameer Kamfar and their neighbour Abdul Rahman Al Omari.

(A detailed analysis based entirely on MSM articles is here:

www.team8plus.org/e107_plugins/forum/for…iewtopic.php?19.post

www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/du…mp;address=125×25378)

If these four names were on the passenger manifest then which four alleged hijackers did use an alias boarding the plane according to the official explanation?

If these four names didn’t appear on the passenger manifest then how come they were suspects?

This is especially strange as Ameer Bukhari did indeed die in an airplane crash on September 11. But in the year 2000.

And is this a typical behaviour of people who are innocent:

“Two employees at Rooms To Go, a furniture store in Vero Beach, said Bukhari made a hasty purchase as news of the bombing was breaking on a television in the showroom. Bukhari bought a $1,795 living room set within five minutes and said the furniture needed to be exported to Saudi Arabia immediately.

Kamfar and his family also disappeared quickly from their Vero Beach home. According to a neighbor, ‘they took all their stuff and put it out by the trash: clothes, furniture, pots and pans.’”

www.washingtonpost.com/ac2/wp-dyn?pagena…true+-+Similar+pages

4.

On the first official FBI list published September 14 the name Jarrahi is used.

www.fbi.gov/pressrel/pressrel01/091401hj.htm

If he boarded the plane using Jarrah as his name then how come the FBI named him Jarrahi?

And if he boarded the plane using Jarrahi as his name then how can he have boarded the plane as he had no identification documents on the name of Jarrahi?

And how come the passport found at the crash site was on the name of Jarrah?

The name Jarrah only appeared in the media on September 15.

5.

On September 13 FBI Director Robert Mueller declared

that “18 hijackers were on the four planes.”

archives.cnn.com/2001/US/09/13/investigation.terrorism/

Only on September 14 a 19th name was added.

The name was first announced by CNN:

“American Airlines flight number 77. Cammid Al-Madar, and Mosear Caned (ph), Majar Mokhed (ph), Nawar Al Hazni (ph) and Salem Al Hazni (ph).”

transcripts.cnn.com/TRANSCRIPTS/0109/14/bn.01.html

(Discussion here:

www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/du…50&mesg_id=42650

www.team8plus.org/e107_plugins/forum/for…ewtopic.php?248.post)

Even if the given names are transferred phonetically how can it be explained that instead of the name of Hani Hanjour a completely different sounding name, Mosear Caned, was presented?

Why has there never been any explanation for this?

6.

Only on September 14 Hani Hanjour was added to the list.

www.fbi.gov/pressrel/pressrel01/091401hj.htm

His late identification was explained by the possibility that he had no ticket.

www.washingtonpost.com/wp-srv/nation/gra…ttack/hijackers.html

But then how did he got aboard?

And why does FBI Mueller state that Hanjour bought a ticket paying cash?

intelligence.senate.gov/0209hrg/020926/mueller.pdf (p. 7f)

And if he bought a ticket then why does it take three days till his name appears as a hijacker?

Conclusion I:

First of all we can clearly conclude that – for whatever reason – Robert Bonner had lied under oath.

And also this former FBI agent lies about how the alleged hijackers were identified:

“A former FBI agent and a former federal prosecutor who helped direct the New England investigation of the Sept. 11 attacks told Newsday that one bag found in Boston contained far more than what the commission report cited, including the names of the hijackers, their assignments and their al-Qaida connections. »It had all these Arab-language papers that amounted to the Rosetta stone of the investigation,» former FBI agent Warren Flagg said. The former federal prosecutor, who declined to be identified publicly, supported Flagg’s account.

“How do you think the government was able to identify all 19 hijackers almost immediately after the attacks?» Flagg asked. »They were identified through those papers in the luggage. And that’s how it was known so soon that al-Qaida was behind the hijackings.”

www.newsday.com/news/nationworld/nation/…-homepage-bigpix2005

Why does everybody lie about how the alleged hijackers were identified?

Based on the passenger manifests a quick identification should have been possible.

Why are the four passenger manifests so mysterious that they didn’t hinder so many apparent errors?

Why haven’t these magic passenger manifests not been published (They only have been partly published at the Moussaoui trial. The publication in McDermott’s book certainly can’t be considered an official publication)?

And why are there even more mysterious concerning these passenger manifests?

Why does a comparison of manifests published by several major newspaper for AA 11 amount a total of 100 people aboard (although officially there were only 92)?

www.indymedia.be/news/2004/05/84711.php

How come that people like the Larsons who have never even bought tickets for this flight appeared on the list?

edition.cnn.com/SPECIALS/2001/trade.cent…ms/AA11.victims.html

The way the identities of the alleged hijackers have been uncovered is unclear.

HOW CERTAIN ARE THE OFFICIAL IDENTITIES OF THE ALLEGED HIJACKERS?

POSITIVE IDENTIFICATION OF THE ALLEGED HIJACKERS

7.

It goes without saying that the positive identification is crucial for a criminal case.

All passengers have been identified at the Pentagon and Shanksville but none of the nine alleged hijackers of AA 77 and UA 93 were positively identified.

Instead they have been “identified” by the “process of exclusion”.

www.washingtonpost.com/ac2/wp-dyn?pagena…20&notFound=true

nmhm.washingtondc.museum/exhibits/911/

The positive identification wasn’t possible for a very simple reason:

“The FBI has not given the institute any DNA to match up in those crashes, said the spokesman.

www.cnn.com/2003/US/Northeast/02/27/hija…s.remains/index.html

Given the fact that the FBI had collected many samples of DNA of the alleged hijackers I can only ask: Well, why not?

And why is one DNA sample of the alleged hijackers 50% more likely to be of Caucasian origin than Middle Eastern origin?

www.cstl.nist.gov/div831/strbase/pub_pres/Edson2004.pdf

(p.84, table 6)

see discussion by stickdog :

www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/du…mp;address=125×43969

Of the ten alleged hijackers in AA 11 and UA 175 two were positively identified in 2003.

www.cnn.com/2003/US/Northeast/02/27/hija…s.remains/index.html

“Examiners could not say

which of the hijackers’ remains had been discovered because the FBI

did not identify which of the DNA samples belonged to which hijacker, she (said Ellen Barakove, a spokeswoman for the New York Medical Examiner’s office) said.”

www.cnn.com/2003/US/Northeast/02/27/hija…s.remains/index.html

Why is that ?

In 2005 it is stated that three alleged hijackers have been positively identified but still none can be identified by name.

www.nydailynews.com/front/story/354992p-302463c.html

Very strange observation by somebody who should know:

“In »Who They Were,» his new inside account of the identification effort, Shaler writes that he believes the terrorists identified were in the back of the planes – and not the monsters who plowed the jets into the towers”

www.nydailynews.com/front/story/354992p-302463c.html

This is very surprising given the fact that in AA 11 we have phone calls till the crash and in UA 175 till two minutes before the crash. No passenger mentioned any passengers coming back to the rear of the plane.

(Discussion here:

www.team8plus.org/forum_viewtopic.php?6.1639

(For more details on the identification process check out:

www.team8plus.org/e107_plugins/forum/forum_viewtopic.php?39

www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/du…35&mesg_id=22735)

2008 the fourth identification happenes.

www.nytimes.com/2008/09/21/us/21hijacker…rint&oref=slogin

Still no name is given.

8

Was Jarrah positively identified?

This is a very special case and the official information are very contradictory to say the least. For details see:

johndoeii.blog.com/2011/04/02/was-jarrah…ed-by-raphael-weber/

Conclusion III:

The FBI is extremely reluctant in positively identifying the alleged hijackers.

Therefore it is unclear how the alleged hijackers were identified in the first place.

The identities of the alleged hijackers are very far from being clear.

One can hardly say that the alleged hijackers were positively identified.

9.

There has been much discussion about the lack of piloting skills of Hani Hanjour and also of the often ignored difficulty of crashing a plane into the WTC.

Hosni Mubarak, President of Egypt:

“I find it hard to believe that people who were learning to fly in Florida could, within a year and a half, fly large commercial airlines and hit with accuracy the towers of the World Trade Center which would appear, to the pilot from the air,

the size of a pencil.”

www.presidency.gov.eg/html/25-Oct2001_press.html

Or in the words of German journalist Christian C. Walther:

“From an altitude of 29.000 ft and hundred miles to the north New York looks like an ordinary city map – 30 yards away from your eye.”

(Christian C. Walther: 119 Fragen, p. 24.)

More details on this issue here:

(For details please check: “Crime of the Century, p. 105ff

www.team8plus.org/e107_plugins/forum/forum_viewtopic.php?3739)

Given the discrepancies between the piloting kills of the alleged hijackers and the professionalism of the manoeuvres of the hijacked planes on 9/11 what proof do we have that really the alleged hijackers as they are officially presented were piloting the planes?

10.

All the mentioned doubts and unanswered questions lead straight to this general question. Until today the official flight manifests haven’t been published in its entirety. The copies in McDermott’s book can hardly be called “official”. The Moussaoui trial only presented beautiful flash applets and the Commission released in 2009 only the manifests for UA 175 and UA 93.

www.911myths.com/images/0/0e/Ual93manifest.png

www.911myths.com/images/1/12/Ual175manifest1.png

www.911myths.com/images/c/ce/Ual175manifest2.png

Until today no boarding cards of the alleged hijackers have been published.

(And no comparison between finger prints on the boarding card and in the cars, hotel rooms of the alleged hijackers has been published).

Until 2004 no video footage of any security camera showing the alleged hijackers in the airport of their final flight.

The video footage from Atta and Al Omari is from Portland not from Boston.

Officially the big airports Boston Logan and Newark Airport hadn’t any cameras.

The only video footage of the alleged hijackers in the airport of their last flight was presented in 2004. Strangely it lacks any time stamp.

Why was no proof presented to the public showing that the alleged hijackers actually boarded the plane although this proof must exists (e.g. the boarding cards)?

11.

Contrary to the official story there are plenty of information that the alleged hijackers lived not a religious and certainly not a fundamentalist life in the US.

(For details please check: “Crime of the Century, p. 89ff

www.team8plus.org/e107_plugins/forum/forum_viewtopic.php?3739)

Why were they never seen at mosques, loved lap dances, drank alcohol if they were on a mission in the name of Allah?

Why didn’t they even show any religious signs on September 10?

12.

Some of the alleged hijackers were under surveillance even before entering the US.

When Atta in November ’98 first moved into the apartment at 54 Marienstrasse, Hamburg the place was under surveillance by German intelligence, because of investigations into businessman Mamoun Darkazanli.

www.washingtonpost.com/ac2/wp-dyn?pagena…23&notFound=true

www.chicagotribune.com/news/showcase/chi…chi-newsspecials-hed

The very same person with contacts to Atta that the CIA had tried to recruit as informant since December ‘99.

(Chicago Tribune, 11/17/02

online: www.9/11readingroom.org/bib/whole_document.php?article_id=437)

Without success.

The German intelligence provided the CIA with Al Shehhi’s first name and phone number in March ‘99.

www.nytimes.com/2004/02/24/politics/24TE…b57a1e88&ei=5070

And in January 2000 Atta is also put under surveillance by the CIA while still living in Germany.

(AFP, 9/22/01; Focus, 9/24/01; Berliner Zeitung, 9/24/01)

The same month the CIA was also tracking Khalid Almihdhar and Nawaf Alhazmi.

(Joint Inquiry, 13.)

Days before they entered the US.

In the months before September 11 “U.S. customs agents were investigating financial dealings between (alleged hijacker Ahmed) Alghamdi and former Boston cab drivers Nabil al-Marabh and Raed Hijazi, identified by the FBI as operatives of al-Quaeda leader Osama bin Laden.

The U.S. customs investigation (…) found that (alleged hijackers) Alghamdi and (…) Satam Suqami had engaged in financial transactions with al-Marabh”.

(Cox News Service, 10/16/01

online: s3.amazonaws.com/9/11timeline/2001/coxnews101601.html=)

The information are contradictory if Jarrah was also under surveillance by the CIA prior to 9/11.

(For further information:

www.team8plus.org/e107_plugins/forum/forum_viewtopic.php?2470)

How come that alleged hijackers had no problems getting a visa to enter the US?

How come that they could even buy the tickets for 9/11 using their real names?

13.

“According to expert analyses of the visa-application forms of 15 of the 9/11 terrorists (the other four applications could not be obtained), all the applicants among the 15 reviewed should have been denied visas under then-existing law. Six separate experts who analyzed the simple, two-page forms came to the same conclusion:

All of the visa applications they reviewed should have been denied on their face.

Even to the untrained eye, it is easy to see why many of the visas should have been denied. Consider, for example, the U.S. destinations most of them listed. Only one of the 15 provided an actual address — and that was only because his first application was refused — and the rest listed only general locations — including »California,» »New York,» »Hotel D.C.,» and »Hotel.» One terrorist amazingly listed his U.S. destination as simply »No.» Even more amazingly, he got a visa. (…) All six experts strongly agreed that even allowing for human error, no more than a handful of the visa applications should have managed to slip through the cracks. Making the visa lapses even more inexplicable, the State Department claims that at least 11 of the 15 were interviewed by consular officers. Nikolai Wenzel, one of the former consular officers who analyzed the forms, declares that State’s issuance of the visas »amounts to criminal negligence

www.nationalreview.com/mowbray/mowbray100902.asp

abcnews.go.com/sections/wnt/DailyNews/hijack_visas021023.html

Why were the alleged hijackers so lucky?

And why did they test their luck instead of caring more to fill out the application form correctly?

14.

Seven alleged hijackers were at one point illegally in the US.

Ziad Jarrah

(violated his immigration status as a tourist by going right away to a full-time flight school when entering the US on June 27, 2000)

Hani Hanjour (since December 8, 2000.)

Mohamed Atta (December 2, 2000 – January 10, 2001).

Atta even left the US without valid visa visa.

Marwan Al-Shehhi (Mid-December 2000 – January 18, 2001.)

Al Shehhi even left the US without having a valid visa.

Satam Al Suqami (since May 21, 2001)

Nawaf Alhazmi (since August 2001)

Khalid Almihdhar (since August 27, 2001)

(For detailed information and sources check out the timeline of each alleged hijacker:

www.team8plus.org/e107_plugins/forum/forum_viewforum.php?23)

A discussion started by Andre II:

www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/du…p;address=125×110586

Why didn’t the alleged hijackers care about being legally in the US?

Why did they even run the risk to leave the country without any visa that assured that they would be able to return to the US?

Why did they always have the luck on their side?

15.

The official story tells:

“They carried out their attacks with meticulous planning, extraordinary secrecy, and extensive knowledge of how America works.”

www.fbi.gov/congress/congress02/mueller050802.htm

www.fbi.gov/pressrel/speeches/speech041902.htm

But contrary to this statement the alleged hijackers showed many times a complete lack of any carefulness.

(For details please check: “Crime of the Century, p. 81ff

www.team8plus.org/e107_plugins/forum/forum_viewtopic.php?3739)

But they were always lucky.

Why didn’t the alleged hijackers behave more carefully?

Why don’t they try to avoid more carefully the contact with the local police?

16.

Atta and Al-Shehhi have been identified by the Able Danger program in January 2000.

How is this possible given the fact that both lived in Germany at that time and according to the official story never had touched the ground of the US yet?

(A discussion started by Andre II here:

www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/du…mp;address=125×76269)

The case of alleged hijackers clearly being in the US before their official entrance date is by far more than only a proof of an inaccurate investigation. It is far more than that.

The entrance date are documented by INS papers.

If these documents have been faked by the INS then we need to wonder what could be so important to cover up?

If the INS documents are authentic than we can conclude that one person with the name of an alleged hijacker did indeed enter the country while another person with the same name of an alleged hijacker was already in the US. So, it would be another proof of having two different people using the very same identity.

What’s your take?

For info on each alleged hijacker and presentation of evidence that he entered the country before the official entrance date see:

18.

A detailed analysis of the alleged hijackers reveal:

Strongly differing behaviour.

Strongly differing English speaking ability/accent.

Strongly differing signatures.

Strongly differing height.

For details please check the timelines on these alleged hijackers here:

team8plus.org/e107_plugins/forum/forum_viewforum.php?23

How do you explain the innumerous amount of strong contradictions in the timelines of the alleged hijacker?

19.

No less than seven alleged hijackers possessed identification documentation that officially they didn’t have?

Abdulaziz Alomari

Fayez Banihammad

Hani Hanjour

Mohamed Atta

Satam Al Suqami

and Wail Al Shehri.

Why?

Is this another reason for considering that the alleged hijackers might have had some sort of doubles?

For details please check the timelines on these alleged hijackers here (with special thanks to the research of Kevin Fenton):

20.

Right after 9/11 several press reports pointed out that Mohammed Atta had gone

to the International Officers School at Maxwell Air Force Base in Alabama.

Al-Omari to the Aerospace Medical School at Brooks Air Force Base in Texas; and

Al-Ghamdi to the Defense Language Institute at the Presidio in Monterey, Calif.”

That an Air Force Statement stating that the alleged hijackers are

“probably”

not identical to the alumnis of U.S. military courses suffice to end the reports in the media only shows how important an official statement is.

web.archive.org/web/20011024161527/http:…reconstructingt.html

Does this word “probably” suffice in view of the many questions surrounding the identity of the alleged hijackers?

21.

A detailed analysis of the alleged hijackers reveal that several of them must have had some sort of double.

Please note that the term “double” doesn’t necessarily imply that each alleged hijacker had his “own” double. Different explanations are possible. In the words of medienanalyse:

“Duplication is a way to produce leads. That is the behest, the goal. There are other ways too. Invent a person, give it a paper trail, and you only need ONE agent to do all the physical show ups. It is efficient and who cares for the contradictions.”

www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/du…70&mesg_id=76534

A very convincing case of this is Atta being drinking in Shuckums as witnessed by several eyewitnesses who were interviewed right after 9/11 by the FBI and whose story was all over the news and at the very same time according to official documents Atta is sitting in a plane from Fort Lauderdale to Baltimore.

Nawaf Alhazmi

Considerable indications of an alleged hijacker having a double:

Hamza Alghamdi

Waleed Al Shehri

One simple question at the end:

22.

How do you explain the many occasions when alleged hijackers are witnessed at two different locations at the same time?

Waleed Alshehri

Summary:

The case of Waleed Al Shehri is maybe the oddest of all:

There is one Waleed who enrolled at Embry-Riddle and also trained at Flight Safety in Vero Beach, was a licenced pilot and left the US and is still alive today. The official Waleed left a remote corner of Saudi Arabia only in summer 2001.

For more details on the “very interesting” Embry-Riddle: http://www.team8plus.org/forum_viewtopic.php?6.1493

For more details on Vero Beach:

http://www.team8plus.org/forum_viewtopic.php?7.35

Very, very odd: The Waleed still alive lived with 1999 together (or in the same apartment at a different time) with two persons having the same name as two alleged hijackers: Saeed and Ahmed Alghamdi. Moreover their behaviour arose suspicion and the FBI was called. To have one case of mistaken identity is explainable but how do you explain that the supposedly innocent Waleed (who is still alive) had direct connection to two people having the same name as alleged hijackers (at a time when they’re officially not supposed to be in the US)?

The official Waleed can speak German though he came from the middle of nowhere in Saudi Arabia. He is even a big fan of US baseball and has his favourite club.

Strange also that the Waleed still alive stated that CNN showed a photo of him that was taken from Flight Safety school which he had attended. Most likely as a BBC report shows CNN simply showed the FBI picture which means Waleed’s photo is simply the wrong one! Which again would be astonishing cause Wail’s photo has indeed “brotherly” resemblance to Waleed.

Why did Waleed pay on July 26 for a motel for a whole week although he moved on four days later?

Why does the FBI even in February 2002 list also the date of birth of the Waleed who is still alive?

Why so much confusion over his date of birth in general?

Did he travel to Spain and if so under which alias and using what documentation?

Why does the FBI list Waleed as a “possible pilot” though the official Waleed had absolutely no flight training?

Why does the FBI believe Waleed to be a Saudi but not his brother?

Why does the finnlist have a completely different middle name for him?

Why is one given birthday in the finnlist exactly the same as one possible birthday they give for Wail Alshehri?

Does the internal finnlist seriously consider the possibility that Waleed was 10 years old?

Why does the finnlist lists 5 different phone numbers for Walled and no less than 8 addresses in the US (pretty much for an official stay of a couple of month)?

How come he has so many alias although he was officially only a few month in the US?

Why does only the finnlist mention his alias and why is one almost exactly the official name of his brother?

Why does his driver’s licence give 5-feet-6 as his height while on his visa application 5-feet-9 was noted?

Do the official photos really show the very same person?

Why does he intend in his visa application to arrive in the US “after two weeks” yet only arrives officially eight months later?

Why does the finnlist not list the birth date shown eg on his driving licence, that is December 20, 1978?

Visa application.

http://www.nationalreview.com/images/pic_visa_4.jpg

TIMELINE :

December 20, 1978:

One of the many of his date of birth given by the FBI and the one that was used on his visa application.

Please note that “Arab News” gives his age as 21 and not 22.

http://72.14.203.104/search?q=cache:BJ1oeX…lient=firefox-a

Comment: Why so much confusion about his date of birth? Shouldn’t a talk with his parents solve the problem?

1993:

“Waleed Alshehri (…)enrolled at Embry-Riddle University, where he received a bachelor’s degree in aviation science four years later, according to school spokesman Robert Ross. During that time, records show Alshehri lived in apartment in Daytona Beach.”

(Boston Herald, 9/16/01)

“Al Shehri, thought to have been involved in the 1993 bomb attack on the Trade Center, resurfaced in Florida a year later.”

(Mirror, 9/17/01)

Comment: Are there more sources for this surprising claim?

1994:

“Records show he had been in the United States since at least 1994, when he got a Social Security number and a Florida driver’s license.

http://web.archive.org/web/20021108010514/…hijackers.shtml

(Boston Globe, 9/15/01)

Mid-90s:

Real estate records show that he lived in Daytona Beach in the mid-1990′s and moved to Virginia in 1999. It is not clear when he moved out of the house.

(New York Times, 9/15/01)

Online: http://www.amanaonline.com/Articles/art_122.htm

1996:

“Alshehri and Alghamdi appeared to live at the same address at about the same time.

(Boston Globe, 9/15/01)

Comment: So two cases of “mistaken identities” accidentally lived together. The USA is a small country.

March 1996:

“Federal Aviation Agency records show the Daytona Beach Shehri’s commercial pilot’s license was issued in March 1996, was not rated for jets and had expired.”

(Palm Beach Post, 9/14/01)

1997:

“He graduated from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Florida with a commercial pilot’s training degree. He also has a commercial pilot’s license.”

http://web.archive.org/web/20021108010514/…hijackers.shtml

“Two of the suspected terrorists, Ahmed Alghamdi and Waleed Alshehri, stayed at the Anatole Apartments in Daytona Beach, Fla. , in 1997, said Eric Bolten, president of Mid-America Apartment Communities, which owns the apartment complex. The $500-per-month apartments, with access to hot tubs and tennis courts, are a mile from Daytona Beach International Airport and near the Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. Bolten said his Memphis-based company is cooperating with the FBI. Ahmed Alghamdi also is linked to two other addresses less than a mile south of the Daytona Beach airport, as well as one within three miles of the Spruce Creek Airport.”

http://www.pittsburghlive.com/x/tribune-re…al/s_55522.html

Comment: Did Ahmed live at the same address as Waleed 1997 together or did Ahmed stay there in 1995 already?

May – December 1997:

“A manager at the Anatole apartments near Daytona Beach International Airport said Ahmed al-Ghamdi, who was on United Airlines Flight 175, lived in the complex in 1995, while Waleed al-Shehri lived there from May through December 1997, while he attended Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. (School officials say they have no record of Mr. Ghamdi attending the school.)”

(New York Times, 9/15/01)

Online: http://www.amanaonline.com/Articles/art_122.htm

December 1997:

“Lisa Ledewitz, a spokeswoman for Embry-Riddle, said Mr. Alshehri graduated in 1997 with a bachelor’s degree in aeronautical science. She said it was a four-year program, so he presumably enrolled in 1993. He took all required courses for the airline pilot area of concentration, she said.”

(New York Times, 9/15/01)

Online: http://www.amanaonline.com/Articles/art_122.htm

November 1, 1998-February 2001:

Mohamed Atta and al-Qaeda operatives Said Bahaji and Ramzi Bin al-Shibh move into a four bedroom apartment at 54 Marienstrasse, in Hamburg, Germany, and stay there until February 2001

Waleed Alshehri also apparently stays at the apartment “at times.”

http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-srv/natio…/hijackers.html

http://web.archive.org/web/20030618074932/…kers-0914.story

“Two of the central suspects, Mohamed Atta and Marwan Alshehhi, were enrolled at a university in Hamburg before coming to Florida. And they shared an apartment with a third man — Waleed Al Shehri — who was also among the dead hijacking suspects, German authorities and media reports say.”

http://web.archive.org/web/20011019090410/…docs/046328.htm

Comment: Well, this perfectly explains why he can talk German but has the problem that the “official” Waleed at that time is still at home in Jeddah.

1999:

“Hamid Keshavarznia of Reston said he rented a room to Alshehri for a few months about two years ago at a Vienna home he owns.

Albritton said the FBI called her home following the attacks to inquire about Alshehri. Vienna police Capt. Johnny Price said his department was not at all involved in any investigation, but that other neighbors had called the police and said they were questioned by the FBI.”

http://www.cooperativeresearch.org/timelin…/ap091401b.html

“Property records show that Waleed most recently lived at the same address in Daytona Beach as Ahmed B. Alshehri, a former second secretary of the Embassy of Saudi Arabia in Washington. Both men formerly lived in Vienna, Va., simultaneously. On Thursday, Hamid “Avis” Keshavarznia, who had been the suspected hijacker’s landlord in Vienna, recalled that the elder Alshehri worked for the Saudi Embassy.”

February-October 1999:

“Hamid Keshavarznia of Reston said he rented a room to Alshehri for a few months about two years ago at a Vienna home he owns. But Alshehri broke the lease, telling Keshavarznia that his father wanted him back in London. “He looked too innocent to be suspicious,” Keshavarznia said. He said that Alshehri was a Saudi citizen and appeared to be in his early 20s. Information released by the FBI listed numerous possible dates of birth for Alshehri that would put his age at anywhere from 21 to 27. Keshavarznia rents out about five rooms in the Vienna home. Neighbors said they always noticed a lot of activity at the house, often at odd hours. None knew Alshehri specifically.”

http://www.cooperativeresearch.org/timelin…/ap091401b.html

“Neighbor Diane Albritton said she called the CIA with her suspicions about illegal activity at the house, but nothing was done. “There were all kinds of comings and goings,” she said. “People were always carrying cases in and out.” Albritton said the FBI called her home following the attacks to inquire about Alshehri. Vienna police Capt. Johnny Price said his department was not at all involved in any investigation, but that other neighbors had called the police and said they were questioned by the FBI. Other neighbors, though, said they had not been questioned at all, and Keshavarznia, an Iranian native and U.S. citizen, said he had not been contacted by authorities.”

http://www.cooperativeresearch.org/timelin…news060602.html

“Authorities say Alshehri, 25, may have lived for a time, possibly as recently as 14 months ago, in Vienna, at 502 Orrin St., as well as in Daytona Beach, Fla. , where he graduated from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, authorities say. Another suspected hijacker, Ahmed Alghamdi (…) lived at the same Vienna address, according to the FBI.”

“Federal authorities suspect that the home may have been used as a safe-house for terrorists.”

http://www.worldnetdaily.com/news/article….RTICLE_ID=24502

Comment: This article has much more info about strange activity at this house.

“Published reports and documents show a man by that name also lived at a boarding house in Vienna, Va., near Washington, from at least February to October 1999, and took computer classes with his father in nearby Tysons Corner, Va.”

(Palm Beach Post, 10/17/01)

At some point in 1999:

“He is a college dropout from the teachers college in Abha, where his brother attended”.

http://72.14.203.104/search?q=cache:BJ1oeX…lient=firefox-a

Late 1999:

“Instead of turning to conventional psychiatry, he told his father he was seeking a form of exorcism. He had already consulted several Muslim clerics in the hope that they could cure him, and now he appeared to pin his hopes on a pilgrimage to the holy city of Medina with the less-religious Waleed, who dropped out of college to join him on the journey north.”

(Sunday Times, 1/27/02)

Spring 2000:

“Friends who knew them say they gathered in the (Seqely) mosque in the spring of 2000 to pray and meditate in an informal ceremony that bound them to jihad”.

http://www.boston.com/news/packages/undera…art1_side.shtml

Late Spring 2000:

“they (Waleed and Wail) disappeared and their family did not know where they went, Abdel Rahman said. Friends said they believed the two went to Pakistan and then on to Afghanistan where they were given hand-to-hand combat and light weapons instruction at the Al Farouk training camp.”

http://www.boston.com/news/packages/undera…art1_side.shtml

“He (Wail) left Saudi Arabia to Afghanistan via Pakistan approximately in March 2000 with his younger brother Waleed and Ahmed AlNami.”

http://72.14.203.104/search?q=cache:BJ1oeX…lient=firefox-a

May 2000:

“A Waleed Alshehri listed with a Daytona Beach address gave a date of birth of New Year’s Day, 1976, and said he was 5-feet-10. Records show he lived there from at least 1995 to at least May 2000.”

(Palm Beach Post, 10/17/01)

Middle 2000:

“Abdul Latif Darab, a native of Afghanistan who has lived in the United States since 1982, said he told the FBI that Alshehri hadn’t lived at the address (in Vienna, Virg) for at least the past 14 months.”

http://web.archive.org/web/20021108010514/…hijackers.shtml

Summer 2000:

“While training at al Qaeda camps, a dozen of them heard Bin Ladin’s speeches, volunteered to become suicide operatives, and eventually were selected as muscle hijackers for the planes operation. Khallad says he met a number of them at the Kandahar airport, where they were helping to provide extra security. He encouraged Bin Ladin to use them. Khallad claims to have been closest with Saeed al Ghamdi, whom he convinced to become a martyr and whom he asked to recruit a friend, Ahmed al Ghamdi, to the same cause. Although Khallad claims not to recall everyone from this group who was later chosen for the 9/11 operation, he says they also included Suqami, Waleed and Wail al Shehri, Omari, Nami, Hamza al Ghamdi, Salem al Hazmi, and Moqed.”

(CR, 233f)

July 2000:

Waleed: The last time I was there was in July 2000. I was getting flight training for two months in a school called Flight CFT near Daytona Beach. I returned to Saudi Arabia in September of the same year.”

http://web.archive.org/web/20011006115132/…identities.html

July – September 2000:

“A Saudi pilot named Waleed As-Shahri is interviewed by As-Sharq al-Ausat, a London-based Arabic language newspaper. He says that the FBI thought the hijacker Waleed Alshehri was him, but that he has been cleared of any connection to the plot. He attended the Flight Safety school near Daytona Beach from July to September 2000. He believes that a photo of him taken for the school is the photo of the hijacker Waleed later shown on CNN. He has since been working for Saudi Airlines, and undergoing training in Morocco. He says that he knows no one by the name Wail, and has no brother by that name. The name of his father is not mentioned.”

http://web.archive.org/web/20011006115132/…identities.html

October 24, 2000:

“Brothers Wail and Waleed al-Shehri applied together for travel visas on October 24, 2000. Wail claimed his occupation was “teater,” while his brother wrote “student.” Both listed the name and address of his respective employer or school as simply “South City.” Each also declared a U.S. destination of ‘Wasantwn.’”

http://www.nationalreview.com/mowbray/mowbray100902.asp

For further analysis of the application see the document: http://www.nationalreview.com/images/pic_visa_4.jpg

Especially strange Waleed declares that he intends to arrive in the US “after two weeks” yet he will officially only arrive in the US eight month later!

Comment I: Applied for a visa in October 2000 and only entered the US in June 2001?!

Comment II: Why does “Terrorist Travel” give no details about the life of Waleed before his entry in the US and especially about his visa application on this day??

Mid-November 2000:

“We believe, three of the future muscle hijackers, Wail al Shehri, Waleed al Shehri, and Ahmed al Nami, all of whom had obtained their U. S. visas in late October, traveled in a group from Saudi Arabia to Beirut and then onward to Iran.”

CR, 240

December 2000:

“He (his brother) said that Wail, an arts teacher, became depressed and went to the holy city of Medina in December 2000 with his brother to consult a religious teacher. When they came back, said another brother, Saleh, Wail and Waleed did not seem to be any more religious than before, though Wail told the family that seeing the religious teacher had lifted his depression.

“They were very normal until the last time I saw them,” said their father.”

http://web.archive.org/web/20021025012522/…ies_020315.html

(…) They rang the bell and gave me the key before they left,” she said. “I said, `Thank you,’ and asked them, `Are you going back to Saudi Arabia?’ They said: `No. We’re going up north.’ Who would have thought?”

May 16, 2001:

“Waleed al Shehri and Suqami again traveled together, this time out of the country to the Bahamas, where they reserved three nights at the Bahamas Princess Resort. They turned in their arrival record, which was now acting as an exit record, boarded the plane, and arrived in Freeport. The trip was intended to extend Suqami’s legal length of stay in the United States. Bahamian immigration refused the two entry, however, because neither had a Bahamian visa. They therefore had to return to their starting point, in this case Fort Lauderdale. Because they never entered the Bahamas, under U.S. immigration law they had never left the United States. After being refused entry by the Bahamian INS at Freeport, they were sent through U.S. “pre-clearance” before boarding the plane back to Miami. By making possible immigration inspections of U.S.-bound travelers prior to their arrival, preclearance helped ease the burden of admission at busy U.S. airports. These stations also prevented travelers deemed inadmissible from boarding U.S.-bound planes. In this preclearance process, immigration waived them through but customs stopped Shehri. The inspection lasted one minute; Shehri was not personally searched, nor was his luggage x-rayed. They boarded a plane and returned to Miami.”

(Terrorist Travel, 23)

May 19, 2001:

“Shehri and Suqami flew from Fort Lauderdale to Freeport, the Bahamas, where they had reservations at the Bahamas Princess Resort. The two were turned away by Bahamian officials on arrival, however, because they lacked visas; they returned to Florida that same day. They likely took this trip to renew Suqami’s immigration status, as Suqami’s legal stay in the United States ended May 21.”

May 28, 2001:

“When he moved out of the second-floor efficiency at the Bimini Motel Apartments, Waleed M. Alshehri did something most of Joanne Solic’s tenants don’t bother to do: He rang the office bell, handed her the key and thanked her for her hospitality.

“Most people just dump the key in the room, so I thought it was very nice of him,” said Solic, who owns the stucco motel, one of scores like it along Florida’s East Coast. “He seemed so quiet, so polite–just a normal young pilot. When I changed the towels in the room, the clothes were always neatly stacked.”

June 21 – July 26 or 27, 2001:

“Records show one suspect spent a month at a Boynton Beach apartment motel this summer. Waleed Shehri, 22, of Hollywood, stayed at the 140-unit [b]Homing Inn, 2821 S. Federal Highway, from June 21 to July 26, according to motel records.”

One afternoon in July 2001:

“Wail Alshehri, Waleed Alshehri and Marwan Al-Shehhi visited the Delray Beach Public Library in Delray Beach, Florida. Wail Alshehri and Waleed Alshehri entered the library one afternoon in July of 2001 and asked to use the libraries’ computers to access the Internet. After about an hour, Marwan Al-Shehhi, joined the two. Waleed and Wail Alshehri were hijackers aboard American Airlines flight 11, while Al-Shehhi was the pilot who took control of United Airlines flight 175. Both of those flights crashed into the World Trade Center on September 11th. A witness who recognized photos of the three individuals that ran in newspaper articles after September 11 provided the information about the Delray Beach library visit. While no records exist to confirm the hijackers’ visit to the Delray Beach library, the timing, location and behavior described by the witness are consistent with other information gathered in the course of the investigation.”

Comment: It’s not specified but I believe this is Wail Al Shehri here. In any case it is strange that this flight he bought brings them on September 8 to Boston although it is “believed” that they are in Boston since September 5.

So the question is: When did Waleed fly to Boston?

This is not answered by the official chronology.

September 5, 2001 B:

“Waleed al Shehri, Satam al Suqami, and Wail al Shehri are believed to have shared a room at the Park Inn in Newton, Massachusetts beginning on September 5. The room was registered to Waleed al Shehri. Abdul Aziz al Omari is also believed to have stayed at this same hotel.”

http://intelligence.senate.gov/0209hrg/020926/witness.htm

Comment : Please note that Al Suqami only arrives on September 6 and that either Wail or Waleed only arrived on September 8. The official statement therefore contains two errors.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION:

Height:

The Waleed still alive measured 5-feet-10

“A Waleed Alshehri listed with a Daytona Beach address gave a date of birth of New Year’s Day, 1976, and said he was 5-feet-10. Records show he lived there from at least 1995 to at least May 2000.”

(Palm Beach Post, 10/17/01)

but surprisingly he was also described as “small in stature”

“A very mild-mannered person, small in stature,” recalled Dr. Frank Richey, 62, a professor in the school of aeronautical science who was among several faculty members interviewed by the FBI about Al Shehri. “He seemed to be very friendly. He was probably one of the last persons I’d expect to do something like this. He didn’t appear to be a religious fanatic at all.”

(New York Times, 9/14/01)

In any case the “official” Waleed measured apparently 5-feet-6 according to his driver’s licence:

http://www.vaed.uscourts.gov/notablecases/…ion/MM01015.pdf

“The man who filled out the paperwork upon check-in at the Homing Inn provided a driver license listing his name as Waleed M. Al Shehri and gave an address that is the oceanfront Bimini Motel in Hollywood. The license gives a date of birth of Dec. 20, 1978, and lists him as 5-feet-6.

(Palm Beach Post, 10/17/01)

But his visa application states “175 cm” (5-feet-9)

http://www.nationalreview.com/images/pic_visa_4.jpg

Comment I: Why this strong difference in two official documents? Please note that if you use forget documents at least you should always make sure that somehow the pic and the given heights resembles you.

Comment II: Please note that while the brothers look very similar on the pictures they have a surprising difference in their height of 6 inches (according to the two visa applications).

Language skill:

The surprising thing is that the “official” Waleed spoke German very well.

Joanne Solic manager of the Bimini appartements remarked he spoke German “adding that her husband spoke German and could talk with them.”

(New York Times, 9/15/01)

Online: http://www.amanaonline.com/Articles/art_122.htm

Comment: This is rather surprising given the fact that the „official“ Waleed only left a remote corner of Saudi-Arabia a couple of month before 911

Person with same name still alive:

Waleed the son of the Saudi diplomat who enrolled at Embry-Riddle and lived in Daytona Beach and Vienna is still alive:

Waleed Al Shehri said that he had been in Morocco on 911.

“He acknowledges that he attended flight training school at Dayton Beach in the United States, and is indeed the same Waleed Al Shehri to whom the FBI has been referring.”

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/middle_east/1559151.stm

Waleed also talks directly to the media.

http://www.ncmonline.com/content/ncm/2001/…identities.html

Please note that there has been a confusion over his father. In fact there are two Ahmed Alshehris.

One:

“On Sept. 16, Ahmed Alshehri, a Saudi diplomat based in Bombay, India, denied he was the father of Waleed Alshehri or had ever served in the United States, even though diplomatic lists showed his position at the Washington embassy.”

(Palm Beach Post, 10/17/01)

Two:

“A Saudi diplomat formerly based in Washington, (…) told (…)that details of one of the hijackers matched his son, Waleed.

http://www.cooperativeresearch.org/timelin…imes092001.html

The father of the alleged hijacker Waleed Al Shehri is called Muhammad.

The official photo(s):

Apparently CNN showed a photo that matched the Waleed still alive:

“But in the morning of Sunday (Sep 16) last my friend called me to say that CNN had shown a picture of me.

http://www.ncmonline.com/content/ncm/2001/…identities.html

“I believe the photo was taken from the “Flight Safety” school when I was being trained there for two months. The photo looks like one taken at that time.

ASAA: Have you ever lost a passport?

Waleed: I have never lost a passport, not inside or outside the USA, nor even the attached pages.”

http://www.ncmonline.com/content/ncm/2001/…identities.html

“He believes that a photo of him taken for the school is the photo of the hijacker Waleed later shown on CNN. He has since been working for Saudi Airlines, and undergoing training in Morocco. He says that he knows no one by the name Wail, and has no brother by that name. The name of his father is not mentioned.”

http://www.ncmonline.com/content/ncm/2001/…identities.html

Though some accounts state the FBI pictures match the “official” brothers:

“Both men disappeared in December while on a trip to seek yet more help and have not been heard from since. They had grown increasingly religious before their disappearance and spoke often about joining the fight in Chechnya, the paper quoted family friends as saying. Their pictures match those released by the F.B.I.

http://www.nytimes.com/2001/09/21/internat…10b3e45&ei=5070

Comment: Strangely a few accounts stress that the Waleed alive had indeed a brother Wail.

(Los Angeles Times, 9/21/01)

http://www.boston.com/news/packages/undera…entities+.shtml

Some accounts state the FBI pictures match the Waleed still alive (which might imply that the CNN and the FBI image are simply the same):

“His photograph having been released and repeatedly shown around the world is evidence the man in the FBI photograph still is alive, the Saudi Embassy explains.”

(Insight the News, 7/7/03)

and CNN simply showed the official FBI photo as BBC writes inserting Waleed’s FBI photo: “His photograph was released, and has since appeared in newspapers and on television around the world.”

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/middle_east/1559151.stm

Comment: How can the “official” Waleed who came from a small town of Saudi-Arabia be much into baseball?

The father of the “official” hijacker:

“Muhammad al-Shehri, one of the town’s wealthiest businessman.”

(Sunday Times, 1/27/02)

Several of their nine brothers worked for the Saudi armed forces and their uncle is believed to have been a major in the kingdom’s army and a director of logistics.

During their weekends, they would go down to the Red Sea with their family. Their elder brothers had travelled to America and spoke good English.

There was, however, little time for foreign languages in the Saudi school timetable, which focused primarily on Islam.”

(Sunday Times, 1/27/02)

“The Alshehris are a military family with three older brothers who hold high rank at the nearby airbase. Their uncle, Major General Faez Alshehri is the logistical director of the kingdom’s armed forces. The base – from which the United States staged some of its airstrikes on Iraq during the Gulf War – was attacked in August 2000 by a lone gunman believed to be a follower of bin Laden.”

http://www.boston.com/news/packages/undera…art1_side.shtml

“The two brothers’ personalities were a complex Saudi mosaic. They were devout, but they also smoked Marlboros, cruised Web sites at a local Internet cafe, and liked pop music.

http://www.boston.com/news/packages/undera…art1_side.shtml

Cities:

And another pilot on the watch list:

Another pilot on the watch list has had a Daytona Beach apartment building address in common with Waleed Alshehri, a hijacker on the first jet to hit the Trade Center, and Saeed Alghamdi, a hijacker on the flight that crashed in Pennsylvania.”

http://www.usatoday.com/news/nation/2001/0…investigate.htm

Locations:

Park Inn Hotel:

Something very astonishing happened in their hotel room:

“In Boston, there apparently was at the Park Inn in Newton, Mass., a room that was occupied by two of the hijackers, the other two. And on September 11th, after they had gotten on the airplane, apparently, somebody went to clean that particular room and they were stopped by a man described as a Middle Eastern male, who told the housekeeper that somebody was sleeping in the room. Has there ever been any tracking down of that information?

MR. FITZGERALD: I’m not familiar with that particular reporting regarding that happening in Boston.”

http://www.9-11commission.gov/archive/hear…_2004-06-16.htm

“The FBI reportedly trailed Al Shehri to a motel in Newton, Mass. Agents searched a room at the Park Inn on Wednesday, suggesting that they had identified Al Shehri as one of the terrorists a day after the attacks. FBI agents spent several hours at the motel. But the room where Al Shehri is believed to have stayed was empty when agents searched it and they did not find anything, said Newton Police Lt. Paul Anastasia. “He is not a Newton resident. Never was,” Anastasia said Friday. The FBI also said that Al Shehri had an address in Hollywood, Fla.”

Wail Alshehri

SUMMARY:

While Wail doesn’t seem to be interesting on the first glance it has to be noted that he was always together with somebody called Waleed for whom it is fairly easy to conclude the existence of a double. Consequently if Waleed had a double Wail must have had one as well.

Given the official education of Wail how can the FBI even consider the possibility that he would be a pilot?

How come that on September 14 the FBI presents a completely different date of birth?

And why is his date of birth such a topic of dispute?

Did he travel to Spain in summer 2001 and if so which alias and what documents did he use?

Please note also what strange things happened the morning of 911 at the hotel room of te two Al Shehris.

How come the finnlist doesn’t include his official birthday as given by the FBI since September 27, 2001?

Why does he have an address in Daytona Beach according to the finnlist? Why does the finnlist only mention a telephone number from Newton but not an address from this city?

He also has a SSAN mentioned in the finnlist. Why is it the same SSAN as the one the finnlist has listed for Waleed Al Shehri?

Please also note that according to first accounts Wail Al Shehri held a passport of the United Arab Emirate although the FBI had already declared he held a Saudi driving licence.

http://transcripts.cnn.com/TRANSCRIPTS/0109/14/bn.01.html

Terrorist Travel doesn’t mention it.

Why does he intend in his visa application to arrive in the US “after two weeks” yet only arrives officially eight months later?

Unfortunately Wail Al Shehri is the one and only alleged hijacker where the Moussaoui trial presented absolutely no evidence for (besides two photos). No documents, no papers.

Florida driver’s licence (July 3, 2001)

Official document:

Visa application by Wail Mohammad Al-Shehri.

http://www.nationalreview.com/images/pic_visa_5.jpg

TIMELINE :

July 31, 1973

While his visa application gives this date of birth strangely the first FBI list gives this one as well but the second FBI list changed the date of birth to September 1, 1968 and drops the above mentioned birthday. The September 1, 1968 date isn’t mentioned in the finnlist at all.

Please note that the Commission states that all “muscles” were between 20 and 28 years old (CR, 231). Therefore the date of birth given by the FBI on September 27 is simply wrong or the Commission is lying.

“Arab News” gives Wail the age of 25 which only corresponds to one date of birth given by the finnlist.

http://72.14.203.104/search?q=cache:BJ1oeX…lient=firefox-a

The Boston Globe also gives his age as 25.

http://www.boston.com/news/packages/undera…art1_side.shtml

Comment: Why is his date of birth such a problem?

1999:

“After graduating in 1999 from a teacher-training college in Abha he returned home as a PE teacher at his old school.”

(Sunday Times, 1/27/02)

He was “a physical education teacher at an elementary school in the Kamis Mushayat airbase.”

Late 1999:

“A turning point came late in 1999 when Wael, 25, fell into a deep depression, Abdel Rahman (a brother) said. His friends say it was not just depression, but perhaps even a suicidal tendency, and he was forced to take a leave of absence from his work as a gym teacher.”

http://www.boston.com/news/packages/undera…art1_side.shtml

“Instead of turning to conventional psychiatry, he told his father he was seeking a form of exorcism. He had already consulted several Muslim clerics in the hope that they could cure him, and now he appeared to pin his hopes on a pilgrimage to the holy city of Medina with the less-religious Waleed, who dropped out of college to join him on the journey north.”

(Sunday Times, 1/27/02)

Spring 2000:

“Friends who knew them say they gathered in the mosque in the spring of 2000 to pray and meditate in an informal ceremony that bound them to jihad”.

http://www.boston.com/news/packages/undera…art1_side.shtml

“Six young men gathered in the Al-Seqley mosque in Khamis Mushayt. The circle was led by Wail al-Shehri.”

(Sunday Times, 1/27/02)

Late Spring 2000:

“Sometime in the late spring of 2000, they disappeared and their family did not know where they went, Abdel Rahman said. Friends said they believed the two went to Pakistan and then on to Afghanistan where they were given hand-to-hand combat and light weapons instruction at the Al Farouk training camp.”

“He left Saudi Arabia to Afghanistan via Pakistan approximately in March 2000 with his younger brother Waleed and Ahmed AlNami.”

(CR, 233f)

October 24, 2000:

Brothers Wail and Waleed al-Shehri applied together for travel visas. Wail claimed his occupation was “teater,” while his brother wrote “student.” Both listed the name and address of his respective employer or school as simply “South City.” Each also declared a U.S. destination of “Wasantwn.”

http://www.nationalreview.com/mowbray/mowbray100902.asp

For further analysis of the application see the document:

http://www.nationalreview.com/images/pic_visa_5.jpg

Especially strange Waleed declares that he intends to arrive in the US “after two weeks” yet he will officially only arrive in the US eight month later!

Comment I: Applied for a visa in October 2000 and only entered the US in June 2001?!

Comment II: Why does “Terrorist Travel” give no details about the life of Wail before his entry in the US and especially about his visa application on this day??

Mid-November 2000:

“We believe, three of the future muscle hijackers, Wail al Shehri, Waleed al Shehri, and Ahmed al Nami, all of whom had obtained their U. S. visas in late October, traveled in a group from Saudi Arabia to Beirut and then onward to Iran.

“A man originally identified as Wail Alshehri, whose birth name is Wael Alshehri, leaves the town of Khamis Mushayt outside Abha in Saudi Arabia. He has a psychological problem and goes to Medina to seek help from religious officials, according to Al Watan. With Wail is his brother, Waleed M. Alshehri. Their father, who says his sons had thought about joining Muslim fighters in Chechnya, says he never hears from them again. Investigators are checking whether a number of hijackers went to Chechnya.”

January-June 2001:

Eleven of the 9/11 hijackers stay in or pass through Britain, according to the British Home Secretary and top investigators. Most are in Britain between April and June, just passing through from Dubai, United Arab Emirates. However, investigators suspect some stay in Britain for training and fundraising. Not all 11 names are given, but one can deduce from the press accounts that Ahmed Alghamdi, Salem Alhazmi, Ahmed Alhaznawi, Ahmed Alnami, and Saeed Alghamdi were definitely in Britain. Two of the following three also were in Britain: Wail Alshehri, Fayez Banihammad, and Abdulaziz Alomari. Apparently, the investigation concludes that the “muscle,” and leaders like Mohamed Atta and Marwan Alshehhi did not pass through Britain at this time.

Early 2001:

“Then the two brothers disappeared again, and the family did not hear from them until early 2001. “They refused to tell their mother where they were,” Alshehri said. “All they said to her was, ‘We’re on our way back home.’ ” The phone call was the last the family heard of the two boys until they saw their photographs in the newspaper in September.”

June 21, 2001:

Waleed M. Alshehri checked into Room B-308 of the low-cost Homing Inn in Boynton Beach, Fla. , paying $286 a week over a month’s stay. He had two companions, and authorities believe they were Satam al-Suqami and Wail Alshehri.

(Boston Globe, 9/23/01)

June 21 – July 26 or 27, 2001:

“Records show one suspect spent a month at a Boynton Beach apartment motel this summer. Waleed Shehri, 22, of Hollywood, stayed at the 140-unit Homing Inn, 2821 S. Federal Highway, from June 21 to July 26, according to motel records.”

(Boston Globe, 9/23/01)

(or till July 27):

“A copy of Waleed Al Shehri’s bill shows he checked into the motel on June 21 and checked out July 27, paying a weekly rate of $260. He variously paid in cash or with a credit card. He made no phone calls during his stay and kept a red Mitsubishi Mirage in the parking lot. He told a clerk, who declined to identify herself, that he was a tourist.”

BACKGROUND INFORMATION:

Height:

His visa application states “160 cm” (5-feet-3)

Comment: Please note that while the brothers look very similar on the pictures they have a surprising difference in their height of 6 inches.

Language skills:

“Furthermore, he didn’t know English.”

(MSNBC, 8/25/02)

Person with same name still alive:

“A Saudi newspaper editor yesterday said two of the hijackers, brothers Waleed and Wail al Shehri, were the sons of a Saudi diplomat, Ahmed al-Shehri.”

http://www.boston.com/news/packages/undera…entities+.shtml

Comment: What is strange about this revelation is that the Waleed alive told journalists that he doesn’t have a brother with the name Wail. http://www.ncmonline.com/content/ncm/2001/…identities.html

As a person with the name Wail Al Shehri so far hasn’t raised his voice the above mentioned statements are questionable and I therefore consider Wail Al Shehri only as “possibly still alive”.

Two:

“A Saudi diplomat formerly based in Washington, (…) told (…)that details of one of the hijackers matched his son, Waleed.”

http://www.cooperativeresearch.org/timelin…imes092001.html

The father of the alleged hijacker Waleed Al Shehri is called Muhammad.

[b]Further information:

“The Alshehris are a military family with three older brothers who hold high rank at the nearby airbase. Their uncle, Major General Faez Alshehri is the logistical director of the kingdom’s armed forces. The base – from which the United States staged some of its airstrikes on Iraq during the Gulf War – was attacked in August 2000 by a lone gunman believed to be a follower of bin Laden.”

http://www.boston.com/news/packages/undera…art1_side.shtml

“Wael was a physical education teacher at the sprawling airbase. US investigators have said they believe Wael may have had flight-simulator experience.

The two brothers’ personalities were a complex Saudi mosaic. They were devout, but they also smoked Marlboros, cruised Web sites at a local Internet cafe, and liked pop music.”

http://www.boston.com/news/packages/undera…art1_side.shtml

“Guest Michael Arnold of Nantucket (…) told the Herald the agents told him they had found flight information in the terrorists’ room.”

Satam Al Suqami

SUMMARY:

Most famous for his high-tech fire and explosion resisting passport (which was actually found even before the Trade Centers collapsed: http://www.9-11commission.gov/archive/hear…2004-01-26.htm)

Here a photo of his passport:

http://www.vaed.uscourts.gov/notablecases/…bs/WT00001A.jpg

Al Suqami was apparently on the radar screen of the federal government several months before September 11 (see: “Several months before September 11”)

Al Suqami is an alleged hijacker who was witnessed in the US before his official arrival. But in his case there never arose any confusion cause the FBI (not even in the internal finnlist) never ever came up with any address of him. Noteworthy also his failed trip to the Bahamas.

Strange that his legal status ended in the US only one month after his arrival and that since May 21, 2001 he was in the country illegally. Why didn’t he try to apply for a different visa? Why didn’t he try to apply for any visa after May 21, 2001? Anything was better than having to remain in the US illegally for another four months.

Important to note as well that Suqami was seen in San Antonio though officially he never was there. For info on San Antonio: http://www.team8plus.org/content.php?article.21

Why does the finnlist not mention a single address of Al Suqami in the US where he spend five month prior to 911?

Why do several newspaper accounts indicate that he had a Florida ID while the Commission claims in “Terrorist Travel” that he had none (see “July 3, 2001”)?

Do the three official photos really show the very same person?

TIMELINE:

June 28, 1976:

His birthday according to official information.

The detailed account of “Arab News” somehow gives a slightly different age for Al Suqami. He’s not 25 but only 24:

http://72.14.203.104/search?q=cache:BJ1oeX…lient=firefox-a

He was from Riyadh.

(CR, 232).

At some point prior to summer 2000:

“He was a student at King Saud University in Riyadh where he met Majid Moqed.”

http://72.14.203.104/search?q=cache:BJ1oeX…lient=firefox-a

Strangely the Commission states:

“Suqami had very little education”

(CR, 232)

Comment: Who is right?

(CR, 233f)

November 21, 2000:

“Satam al Suqami, a Saudi, applied for and received a two-year B-1/B-2 (tourist/business) visa in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. There is very strong evidence that the passport Suqami submitted with this application had fraudulent travel stamps now associated with al Qaeda. Suqami left blank the line on which he was asked to supply the name and street address of his present employer. The consular officer who issued the visa said he interviewed Suqami because he described his present occupation as “dealer,” the word Saudis often put on their applications when they meant “businessman.” The officer testified that he asked Suqami a number of questions, including, he believes, who was paying for the trip. Although the officer stated that notes were always taken during interviews, none were written on Suqami’s application, raising the possibility that the officer’s memory of having conducted an interview was false. In any case, Suqami evidently raised no suspicions and his application was approved. »

(Terrorist Travel, 16)

Late November 2000:

“Satam al Suqami and Majed Moqed, flew into Iran from Bahrain.

CR, 240f

Until February 2001:

At least six people with no connections to one another later claim they recognize Satam Al Suqami and Salem Alhazmi living in San Antonio, Texas, until this month. The management of an apartment building says the two men abandoned their leases at about this time, and some apartment residents recognize them. However, all the witnesses say that Suqami was going by Alhazmi’s name, and vice versa!

(KENS 5 Eyewitness News, 10/1/01)

One pilot shop employee recognizes Alhazmi as a frequent visitor to the store and interested in a 757 or 767 handbook, though he also says Alhazmi used Suqami’s name.

(KENS 5 Eyewitness News, 10/3/01)

The FBI does not explain Satam Al Suqami’s presence.

April 23, 2001:

“Waleed Alshehri and Satam Al Suqami arrive in Orlando, Florida.

http://intelligence.senate.gov/0209hrg/020926/witness.htm

“Waleed al Shehri and Satam al Suqami, both Saudis, entered together at Orlando from Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Suqami was the only Saudi muscle hijacker admitted on business, and only for one month. Shehri was admitted as a tourist for a six-month stay. Both were admitted by the same primary immigration inspector. Suqami’s passport survived the attack: a passerby picked it up from the World Trade Center and handed to a New York Police Department detective shortly before the towers collapsed. Later analysis showed that it contained what are now believed to be fraudulent travel stamps associated with al Qaeda. Upon reviewing color copies of the document, the inspector who admitted Suqami told the Commission he did not note any such fraud. Indeed, he could not have been expected to identify the fraud at the time of Suqami’s admission—it was not discovered by the intelligence community until after the attacks.”

(Terrorist Travel, 21)

Comment: Is it possible that the inspector simply saw a different passport when Al Suqami entered the US?

May 1, 2001:

Satam Alsuqami and Waleed Alshehri opened each a bank account at SunTrust in Hollywood, FL.

Their opening amount was $ 9,000.

Their given adress:

1600 N Ocean Dr Apt 8

in Hollywood, FL.

http://www.vaed.uscourts.gov/notablecases/…ion/BR00040.pdf

Please note that this bank received an inquiry about Satam Alsuqami and Waleed Alshehri already at 11.09 p.m. on September 11.

http://www.vaed.uscourts.gov/notablecases/…ion/BR00140.pdf

CR, 241

Comment: According to “Terrorist Travel” this happened already three days before.

May 20, 2001:

“Suqami joined the millions of overstays in the United States after failing to file for an extension of stay with the INS after he returned from the Bahamas. Had he been allowed into the Bahamas, upon his return to the United States he would have likely been granted an additional length of stay in the country as a tourist. As it was, he remained in illegal status until September 11.

(Terrorist Travel, 23)

Comment: Why doesn’t he even try to obtain a valid visa?

May 21, 2001:

Al “Suqami’s legal status in the United States ended”.

CR, 241

For several months before September 11, 2001:

U.S. customs agents were investigating financial dealings between Alghamdi and former Boston cab drivers Nabil al-Marabh and Raed Hijazi, identified by the FBI as operatives of al-Quaeda leader Osama bin Laden.

The U.S. customs investigation, disclosed in several newspapers including the New York Times and Atlanta Journal Constitution, found that Alghamdi and American Airlines Flight 11 hijacker Satam Suqami had engaged in financial transactions with al-Marabh”.

Comment: The article doesn’t explicitly say so but logically we can assume that Satam Al Suqami was on the radar screen of the federal government several months before September 11. It is rather surprising how he can have participated in the operation of September 11.

Salem Alhazmi

Again a case of an alleged hijacker that has been clearly in the US before their official entry date. The explanation of the FBI is ridiculous. Moreover note the early date his visa was issued which would make no sense if he didn’t enter the US at the official time.

How can he have had a USA ID issued to him on December 30, 2000 although officially he only entered the country six month later?

Very strong indication of two Salem Al Hazmis: At Dulles Airport Salem was described as “And they seemed awfully thin, almost underfed.” The official photo shows somebody who certainly can’t be considered “awfully thin”. Moreover his ID give 5’ 4’’ and 148 lb which can hardly be described as “awfully thin” to put it mildly. And if he asked for a faked ID why would he want completely wrong figures for his weight??

Please also note that Salem Al Hazmi apparently was also undersurveillance prior to his entry in the US. (See “1999” and “December 29, 1999”

How come the FBI can’t even come up with a date of birth although they do have his ID?

Somebody with his name has a listing in one electronic database in the Federal Aviation Administration’s airman directory and attended Alpha Tango Flight School.

Why does the finnlist have an address in Falls Church for him?

Why is Laurel not listed as his address although he apparently lived there for quite some time?

Please note: The Hazmi brothers’ identifications were found in the rubble at the Pentagon and appeared genuine upon examination according to the Commission.

(Terrorist Travel, 35)

Unfortunately in the Moussaoui trial only one is shown which is more likely to be the one of Nawaf as Lexington, New York is given as an address.

1999:

As the NSA continues to monitor an al-Qaeda communications hub in Yemen owned by hijacker Khalid Almihdhar’s father-in-law, they find references to Almihdhar and the hijacker brothers, Salem and Nawaf Alhazmi. They also learn that Almihdhar and Nawaf Alhazmi are long time friends.

http://www.9-11commission.gov/staff_statem…statement_2.pdf (p.6)

In early 1999, the NSA intercepts communications mentioning the full name “Nawaf Alhazmi.” More communications involving the names Nawaf, Salem, and Khalid together and alone are intercepted during 1999. However, this information is not shared with the CIA or FBI at the time. (AP, 9/25/2002)

Hijackers Nawaf Alhazmi, Salem Alhazmi, and Khalid Almihdhar obtain US visas through the US Consulate in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

http://www.cooperativeresearch.org/timelin…artb072403.html

All three are already “al-Qaeda veterans” and battle-hardened killers. Almihdhar’s visa is issued on April 7, and he thereafter leaves and returns to the US multiple times until April 6, 2000.

http://www.cooperativeresearch.org/timelin…tern081303.html

Nawaf Alhazmi gets the same kind of visa; details about Salem are unknown. The CIA claims the hijackers then travel to Afghanistan to participate in “special training” with at least one other suicide bomber on a different mission. The training is led by Khallad bin Attash. The US learns about Almihdhar’s visa in January 2000. The Jeddah Consulate keeps in its records the fact that Nawaf and Alhazmi obtain US visas several days before Almihdhar, but apparently these records are never searched before 9/11.

http://www.cooperativeresearch.org/timelin…arta072403.html

December 29, 1999:

The NSA, monitoring a telephone in an al-Qaeda communications hub in Yemen, has listened in on phone calls revealing that hijackers Khalid Almihdhar, Nawaf Alhazmi, and Salem Alhazmi are to attend an important al-Qaeda meeting in Malaysia in January 2000. Almihdhar’s full name was mentioned, as well as the first names of hijackers Nawaf Alhazmi and Salem Alhazmi. On this day, the NSA shares this information with the CIA’s Alec Station bin Laden unit. Other US intelligence agencies, including FBI headquarters and the FBI’s New York field office, are told as well. Although Khalid Almihdhar’s full name was mentioned in one call, the NSA only passes on his first name. Also, the NSA has already learned from monitoring the Yemen hub that Nawaf’s last name is Alhazmi and that he is long-time friends with Almihdhar. However, they either don’t look this up in their records or don’t pass it on to any other agency.

Comment: This is intriguing as he only officially entered the US on June 29, 2001.

Apparently, the investigation concludes that the “muscle,” and leaders like Mohamed Atta and Marwan Alshehhi did not pass through Britain at this time.

His application, processed through the Visa Express program, was submitted by Ace Travel. According to the consular officer who approved this application, the fact that Hazmi was ‘unemployed’ was not of concern “because they have a terrible unemployment problem in Saudi Arabia, and a lot of people have money but they don’t have jobs.” Although unemployment would have been a “big deal” in another country, the officer said, Saudis like Hazmi “weren’t looking for jobs even though they were unemployed.”

He did so because one of the brothers did not have photo identification nor could he understand English, and because the agent found both of the passengers to be suspicious. The only consequence of their selection was that their checked bags were held off the plane until it was confirmed that they had boarded the aircraft. Saeed Alghamdi

SUMMARY:

An alleged hijacker who entered the US before his official entrance date. While officially he only entered the US on June 27, 2001 there are records indicating that somebody with the same name lived in Delray Beach (also officially named as his only possible residence) since 1992. He also had a driving licence in the US since 1993. Moreover this person had contacts to Flight Safety (Vero Beach) and Embry-Riddle.

For details on Embry-Riddle:

http://www.team8plus.org/forum_viewtopic.php?6.1493

For details on Vero Beach:

http://www.team8plus.org/forum_viewtopic.php?7.35

His name is associated with so many military schools it’s simply amazing.

Besides above mentioned Embry-Riddle the Pentagon confirmed that he “graduated from the Defense Language Institute at Lackland” (a Lackland address is mentioned in the finnlist).

For details on San Antonio connection:

http://www.team8plus.org/content.php?article.21

He also gave once Tyndall Air Force Base as his address.

And somebody with the same name attended a military school in California.

And somebody with the same name was also a licensed pilot. This person always was around with people having the names of Alnami and Hazma Alghamdi. Both of them hadn’t officially entered the US at that time neither. To mistake an innocent having the same name for an alleged hijacker might happen quite easily but that the innocent lived together with two person who accidentally had the same names as the alleged hijackers but were also innocent (as the official once weren’t in the US at that time) pushes the toughest coincidence believes to the limits.

Why is his Custom’s Declaration issued on the name “Saeed A. A. A. Al ghamdi” a name that doesn’t appear at all on the list of alias (while his Immigration arrival record only has “Saeed Alghamdi”)?

Do the three official photos really show the picture of the very same person?

Why does the Commission apparently confound the alleged hijacker with the candidate hijacker Saeed Abdullah Alghamdi?

Please also note the strange fact that somebody with the same name as the alleged hijacker used the Social Security number of a Vermont woman who had been dead for almost 30 years (see 1992).

The FBI doesn’t offer a date of birth for him.

Very strange apparently CNN showed a photo of the Saeed Alghamdi who is still alive!

Extremely odd: In the case of Saeed Alghamdi all the data on the finnlist have absolutely nothing to do with the data given on the FBI lists. Even his official name is different (though note that the finnlist is much more detailed).

Please note that it is claimed that Saeed Alghamdi’s passport was also found at the crash site of UA 93.

http://www.9-11commission.gov/archive/hear…_2004-01-26.htm

Information how and when the alleged hijackers purchased their tickets are easily available. Only for the four alleged hijackers for UA 93 I didn’t manage to find any information whatsoever.

TIMELINE:

November 21, 1979:

While the FBI lists don’t give any date of birth the finnlist offers a variety. Based on his Immigration Arrival Record (Terrorist Travel, 189) we can conclude that “November 21, 1979” is the birthday of the alleged hijacker.

According to the Commission the alleged hijacker Saeed Alghamdi is from the al Bahah region.

(CR, 231)

Did the Commission confound the alleged hijacker Saeed Abdullah Alghamdi with candidate hijacker Saeed Alghamdi (the only Saudi candidate hijacker whose visa application was rejected)?

See the visa application of Saeed Abdullah Alghamdi (Terrorist Travel, 182f)

Comment: How can this confusion be explained? Why would the Commission confound an alleged hijacker with a candiate?

Special thanks to Kevin Fenton for this finding.

1992:

“A man who gave his name as Saeed Alghamdi used the Social Security number of a Vermont woman who had been dead for almost 30 years and (…) an address at Tyndall Air Force Base in Panama City, Fla. is also a mystery. The woman, Lucy Marsden, died of a heart attack in 1965 at age 74.”

(Newsday, 10/22/01)

Since 1992:

“According to records, Ahmed Alnami and Saeed Al-Ghamdi (…) and Hamza Al-Ghamdi (…) lived at the Delray Racquet Club in Delray Beach, Fla., beginning in 1992. ‘I saw them a few times a year over the years,” said one resident who lives on the same floor where the three men lived. “They never spoke, nodded when I said ‘Hi’ but that was it. They had a few visitors but I never heard much noise.’”

(Boston Herald, 9/16/01)

1993:

“Saeed Alghamdi, one of the four listed as hijacking United Airlines Flight 93, which crashed in Stony Creek Township, Pennsylvania, appears to have resided in the United States for about eight years, longer than any of the other suspected terrorists.

Public records show that the 38-year old Alghamdi attained a Florida driver’s license in January 1993.

(Boston Globe, 9/15/01)

1996:

Students in the dorm now – who live in ethnic enclaves of Koreans, Africans, Germans and Middle Easterners – for the most part said they had never heard of him, although the Middle Eastern students refused to talk to reporters. Mr. al-Ghamdi, who is listed as a licensed pilot, also had addresses in Jeddah and at 405 Lexington Ave. in Manhattan, the address of the Saudi Mission to the United Nations.”

Apparently, the investigation concludes that the “muscle,” and leaders like Mohamed Atta and Marwan Alshehhi did not pass through Britain at this time.

(Terrorist Travel, 24)

See:

http://www.vaed.uscourts.gov/notablecases/…ion/MM01005.pdf

June 12, 2001:

“Saeed al Ghamdi acquired a second two-year B-1/B-2 (tourist/business) visa in Jeddah. His application was incomplete and he was not interviewed. Ghamdi’s visa application indicated that he had never applied for a U.S. visa before, a curious similarity to Nami’s application. This was not true, since he had applied for and acquired a visa on September 4, 2000. However, the State Department computer system was not set up to catch this false statement; as noted above, it called up only prior refusals. Ghamdi’s application was submitted by Minhal Travel and processed through the Visa Express program. We considered the possibility that the false answer reflected a mistake by the travel agency personnel, but the same signature appears on both visa applications, and State records indicate that the September application was submitted in person. Thus, it appears that Ghamdi was directly involved in preparing the June visa application containing the false statement. He may have omitted information about his prior visa in order not to raise suspicion about his new visa application in his new passport—without the travel to Pakistan and Afghanistan—when his old visa, which was multiple entry, was still valid.”

(Terrorist Travel, 24)

Comment: But why in general did he risk that the he would be caught with a wrong statement?

June 14 – August 31, 2001:

“A Mail on Sunday investigation has established Mrs (Gloria) Irish (wife of Sun’s editor) drove Alghamdi along with Saeed Alghamdi and Ahmed Alnami (…) around Delray Beach, showing them rental properties. (…) Last night Mrs Irish, asked about documents obtained by The Mail on Sunday that show she was involved in renting a flat to one of the terrorists, replied: ‘Yeah, and so?’ Cecil and Karol Wise, who own the stunning two-bedroom apartment at the Delray Racquet Club, where the hijackers stayed, confirmed: ‘Pelican Properties represented the Arab terrorists.’ Alghamdi put down a $ 1,000 security-deposit on June 14 for the fifth-floor flat, which overlooks the club’s tennis courts, before moving in with his fellow hijackers. ‘Originally, they took it for six weeks, at a rent of $ 1,000 a month, but then Pelican sent us a letter with a cheque to extend the rental to August 31,’ said MrsWise.”

“Saeed al Ghamdi, a Saudi, was admitted as a tourist for six months, but only after a secondary inspection. The Orlando primary inspector who referred him for further examination had worked as an immigration inspector for three years. He said that he insisted that a visitor communicate with him in order to be admitted and that he always asked to see a return ticket. The inspector also told us that he looked closely to see whether the Customs declaration and I-94 arrival form listed a full address of intended destination. Ghamdi met none of these requirements.

Saeed al Ghamdi’s June 2, 201 Customs declaration reviewed by the primary inspector during his adjudication.

The inspector’s inspection record reads, “Subject speaks very little English. No return ticket, no address listed; please question.” His Customs declaration, listing $500 for a stay of one month, was, according to the primary inspector, “pushing it a little bit, along with the fact that he didn’t know where he was going.” The inspector confirmed that he did not have the discretion to give Ghamdi the one-month stay he sought—the law required a mandatory six-month stay for tourists traveling on a visa. The inspector referred Ghamdi to secondary inspection so an interpreter could attempt to flesh out his purpose in coming to the United States. In secondary inspection, Ghamdi convinced a different inspector that he was a tourist and admissible. His secondary inspection report reads: “Tourist. Valid docs. Sufficiently financed. B-2, six months.” Although the inspector who admitted Ghamdi does not recall the inspection, which lasted ten minutes, he told the Commission that he did not normally consider money a valid criterion for determining admissibility. He told us that Ghamdi must have had credit cards to supplement the $500 in cash he was carrying. The inspector said he was not concerned that Ghamdi’s arrival record failed to list an exact address; central Florida is overflowing with hotel rooms and thus a tourist need not have precise lodging to be admissible. Ghamdi’s travel documents looked valid to him as well. »

Siscar-Simpson said the men knocked on her door and tried to enter her home to retrieve a towel and shirt “with something in it” that had fallen from their balcony onto a tile roof accessible from her apartment. She would not let them in. The next morning, she said, someone had managed to remove the towel and shirt.”

Nawaf Alhazmi

SUMMARY:

There are several strong indications that this is a case of an alleged hijacker and his double.

Nawaf Alhazmi is described by an agent at Dulles Airport as « awfully thin almost underfed ». This seems in stark contrast to the images we do have of him. Please note that the same description at Dulles on 911 concerning his brother Salem also is in stark contrast to the given weight and height on Salem’s ID!

Though he is normally placed on the East coast before the attacks several witnesses in San Diego recalled having seen moving out only days before 911,

When he’s caught speeding the police agent recalled Nawaf spoke English « well » though normally his English is described as bad.

How come Nawaf Alhazmi was identified by Able Danger as being part of the Brooklyn group in January 2000 though he just arrived in the US the same month, in California to be exactly?

He most likely entered the US before his official entrance date.

His name is on the lease of the apartment in November 1999 already though officially he entered the country only in January 2000.

If he only entered the US in January 2000 then why did he apply for a visa in March 1999 already?

If this is true it would mean either that he travelled from the US to the meeting in Malaysia or there are two Nawafs we’re talking about.

Please note that his visa expired in August 2001. Why didn’t he seek a visa that would have been valid until September 11 or tried to renew it?

As Almihdhar and Nawaf Alhazmi disappear for two weeks right after they arrived in the US and the FBI has no clue what they did.

How come FBI Mueller states he moved in February-March 2000 to Arizona and then to Virginia though many accounts place him as staying in San Diego for a much longer period of time?

How come that his official name on Sep 14 (Nawaq) doesn’t even show up on the list of alias he used (btw have a look how originally he used his « alias »!)?

Why is Laurel not mentioned as a residence in the FBI list?

Why does the finnlist not mention any address in San Diego?

Why does it mention instead an address in Lemon Grove, CA?

Why does the finnlist not remark “possibly deceased” but “possibly SSAN 199-90-9382”?

Why does his name differ on the finnlist from the FBI list?

Please note: The Hazmi brothers’ identifications were found in the rubble at the Pentagon and appeared genuine upon examination.

(Terrorist Travel, 35)

Unfortunately in the Moussaoui trial only one is show which is more likely to be the one of Nawaf as Lexington, New York is given as an adress.

See: http://www.vaed.uscourts.gov/notablecases/…on/PE00102A.jpg

Please note that the photo seems to be different from the Nawaf with beard we know; At least we can recognize that there he had shaved. Moreover the first two letters of his first name don’t seem to be “Na”.

Last but not least please note the work of Kevin Fenton:

According to the CIA, Alhazmi first travels to Afghanistan in 1993 as a teenager.

http://intelligence.senate.gov/0209hrg/020926/witness.htm

http://observer.guardian.co.uk/waronterror…,556695,00.html

(ABC News, 1/9/02)

1995:

In 1995, he travels with Almihdhar to Bosnia and fights against the Serbs.

http://intelligence.senate.gov/0209hrg/020926/witness.htm

http://observer.guardian.co.uk/waronterror…,556695,00.html

(ABC News, 1/9/02)

1996:

Some reports even have Nawaf Alhazmi and Almihdhar visiting the US as early as 1996.

(Wall Street Journal, 9/17/01)

http://www.reviewjournal.com/lvrj_home/200…s/17309944.html

Since 1996 for several years:

Nawaf Alhazmi fights in Chechnya, Bosnia, and Afghanistan for several years, starting around 1995.

http://intelligence.senate.gov/0209hrg/020926/witness.htm

http://observer.guardian.co.uk/waronterror…,556695,00.html

(ABC News, 1/9/02)

1998 :

He bought with Almihdhar “a car in 1998, a Toyota Corolla with California license plates.”

http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2001/09/14/…ain311329.shtml

March 21, 1999:

“Hazmi’s passport was new–issued on March 21, 1999, and it contained an indicator of extremism that has been associated with al Qaeda”

(Terrorist Travel, 9)

April 3, 1999 A:

“Nawaf al Hazmi applied for a B-1/B-2 (tourist/business) visa in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, submitting a written visa application, his passport, and a photograph”.

(Terrorist Travel, 9)

Also : http://www.cooperativeresearch.org/timelin…arta072403.html

Visa:

http://www.rcfp.org/moussaoui/jpg/size600/SD00405-1.jpg

“Both Hazmi and Mihdhar’s visa applications were destroyed before September 11, according to routine State Department document destruction practices in place in Jeddah, so we could not review them. The electronic records of their applications, their photographs, and information about the visas issued to them still exist, however, and are maintained in the State Department’s Consular Consolidated Database (CCD), and we have reviewed this material”

(Terrorist Travel, 9f)

The CIA claims the hijackers then travel to Afghanistan to participate in “special training” with at least one other suicide bomber on a different mission. The training is led by Khallad bin Attash.

http://www.cooperativeresearch.org/timelin…arta072403.html

April 3, 1999 B:

“Hazmi’s visa was issued (…a) one-year, multiple-entry visa(s).”

(Terrorist Travel, 10)

Fall 1999:

“The only report linking Alhazmi to Florida surfaced earlier this week in a bizarre Associated Press story out of Wyoming. This account, which cited the Cody Enterprise newspaper as its source, reported that police had placed Alhazmi in Cody in the fall of 1999.

Witnesses said Alhazmi was one of two men who made a truck delivery from Canada to Cody High School. Alhazmi reeked of body odor and perfume and was dressed in silky clothing, pointed leather shoes and many gold chains and jewelry.

The two men, who spoke poor English, asked for directions to Florida, police said.”

http://www.reviewjournal.com/lvrj_home/200…s/17309944.html

Comment: Another indication for him having a double.

November 1999:

The Washington Post refers to hijackers Nawaf Alhazmi and Khalid Almihdhar when it later reports, “In November 1999, two Saudi Arabian men moved into a ground-floor apartment at the Parkwood Apartments, a town house complex near a busy commercial strip in San Diego.”

http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-srv/natio…igation_24.html

Alhazmi’s name is on the apartment lease beginning in November 1999.

http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-srv/natio…igation_24.html

The Los Angeles Times similarly notes, “A man by (the name Alhazmi) moved to the Parkwood Apartments in San Diego in 1999, according to manager Holly Ratchford.” http://web.archive.org/web/20030812100412/…0,3617363.story

Comment: There does not appear to be any documentation on how he entered the country.

“The manager said Alhamzi, polite and an “attractive guy,” was cleanshaven, about 5 feet, 4 inches, with a thin build

(Los Angeles Times, 9/15/01)

January 2-5, 2000:

Hijackers Nawaf Alhazmi and Khalid Almihdhar travel to an important al-Qaeda meeting in Malaysia. Alhazmi is in Pakistan with a ticket to Malaysia for January 2. CIA and Pakistani officials plan to have his passport scrutinized as he passes through the airport, but he changes his ticket departure date twice. Officials get confused and are not there when he leaves the country, so they still don’t learn his last name.

http://www.cooperativeresearch.org/timelin…tern081303.html

January 5-8, 2000:

About a dozen of bin Laden’s trusted followers hold a secret, “top-level al-Qaeda summit” in the city of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

http://edition.cnn.com/2002/WORLD/asiapcf/…0/seasia.state/

http://www.signonsandiego.com/news/nation/…1n27hijack.html

Plans for the October 2000 bombing of the USS Cole and the 9/11 attacks are discussed.

http://edition.cnn.com/2002/WORLD/asiapcf/…0/seasia.state/

At the request of the CIA, the Malaysian Secret Service monitors the meeting and then passes the information on to the US. Attendees of the meeting include:

Hijackers Nawaf Alhazmi and Khalid Almihdhar.

January 8, 2000:

The al-Qaeda summit in Malaysia ends and the participants leave. Hijackers Nawaf Alhazmi and Khalid Almihdhar fly to Bangkok, Thailand, traveling under their real names. al-Qaeda leader Khallad bin Attash also travels with them and the three sit side by side in the airplane, but bin Attash travels under the false name “Salah Said.”

http://www.cooperativeresearch.org/timelin…arta072403.html

http://www.cooperativeresearch.org/timelin…2/ap092002.html

The CIA knows that a “Nawaf” has attended the meeting, but does not know his last name. Shortly afterwards, the CIA is told of this airplane flight, and the fact that the person sitting next to Almihdhar on the plane is named “Nawaf Alhazmi.” CIA Headquarters asks the NSA to put Almihdhar on their watch list.

http://www.9-11commission.gov/archive/hear…_2004-01-26.htm

However, neither Alhazmi nor Almihdhar are placed on a terror watch list.

January 8-15, 2000:

“Nawaf Alhazmi and Khalid Almihdhar stay in Thailand.”

CR, 159

January 15, 2000:

“Al-Hazmi along with Khalid al-Mihdhar had arrived in Los Angeles on January 15, 2000 from Bangkok, Thailand.

http://intelligence.senate.gov/0209hrg/020926/witness.htm

“The two Saudis were admitted as tourists for six-month stays by the same primary immigration inspector, who was unaware of the indicators of extremism likely present in their passports. Neither Hazmi nor Mihdhar was on the watchlists available to border inspectors”

(Terrorist Travel, 10)

January 15 – End of January, 2000:

“On January 15, Hazmi and Mihdhar arrived in Los Angeles. They spent about two weeks there before moving on to San Diego. (…)Our inability to ascertain the activities of Hazmi and Mihdhar during their first two weeks in the United States.

CR, 216

February 1, 2000:

We do not pick up their trail until February 1, 2000, when they encountered Omar al Bayoumi and Caysan Bin Don at a halal food restaurant on Venice Boulevard in Culver City, a few blocks away from the King Fahd mosque.”

CR, 217

After meeting them and after bringing them to San Diego, he finds them a place to live. Al-Bayoumi lives at the Villa Balboa apartments with a wife and children, and the two hijackers move into the Parkwood apartments directly across the street.

(Los Angeles Times, 9/1/02)

http://www.cooperativeresearch.org/timelin…cury102101.html

It appears the lease was actually signed by Alhazmi a few months earlier. Al-Bayoumi cosigns the lease and pays $1,500 cash for their first month’s rent and security deposit.

http://www.cooperativeresearch.org/timelin…arta072403.html

(Newsweek, 11/24/02)

February 4, 2000:

By that day “Hazmi and Mihdhar had come to San Diego from Los Angeles, possibly driven by Mohdar Abdullah. (…)We thus do not know when or how Hazmi and Mihdhar first came to San Diego. We do know that on February 4, they went to the Islamic Center of San Diego to find Omar al Bayoumi and take him up on his offer of help.”

CR, 218

Early February-Summer 2000:

Nawaf Alhazmi and Khalid Almihdhar move to San Diego and live there openly.

http://www.cooperativeresearch.org/timelin…arta072403.html

Hijacker Hani Hanjour joins them as a roommate in February 2000 but apparently does not stay long.

http://www.time.com/time/covers/1101010924/wplot.html

February 8 – March 16, 2001:

“Hanjour (…) traveled with al-Hazmi to Arizona where he spent time at Jet Tech taking simulator lessons for a Boeing 737 from February 8, 2001 through March 16, 2001.

After Arizona, Hanjour and al-Hazmi continued eastward settling in the Alexandria, Virginia area.

http://intelligence.senate.gov/0209hrg/020926/witness.htm

Comments: Strange as other accounts do have him still in San Diego!

April 2000:

Alhamzi shows up at the National Air College Flight School in San Diego. He wants to fly a plane. But the school questions his limited knowledge of English and he gets only one lesson.

http://www.sptimes.com/News/092701/Worldan…_the_terr.shtml

Comment: Should be the same as on April 10.

April 2, 2000:

Nawaf al Hazmi’s visa expired, but that expiration had no bearing on his legal status in the United States. Any visitor who enters the country with a valid visa may remain through the length of stay granted by an immigration inspector upon arrival.”

(Terrorist Travel, 10)

April 5, 2000:

“Mihdhar and Nawaf al Hazmi acquired California driver’s licenses”.

Comment: Is this legally possible with an expired visa?

April 10, 2000:

“al-Hazmi took a one hour introductory lesson at the National Air College in San Diego.”

http://intelligence.senate.gov/0209hrg/020926/witness.htm

April 18, 2000:

“Al-Hazmi received a.$5,000 wire transfer through a third party from “All” (believed to be Ali Abdul Aziz Ali) sent from the UAE. As we discovered later, Aziz sent money from the UAE to other hijackers as well.”

http://intelligence.senate.gov/0209hrg/020926/witness.htm

May 2000:

Alhazmi and Khalid Almihdhar arrive at Sorbi’s Flying Club, a small school also in San Diego. They announce that they want to learn to fly Boeing airliners.

http://www.washingtonpost.com/ac2/wp-dyn?p…9&notFound=true

May 5, 2000:

“On May. 5, 2000 and May 10, 2000, al-Mihdhar and al-Hazmi each took introductory flying lessons and bought a Jeppesen flight training kit. During this time frame, al-Hazmi was also enrolled in English classes.”

http://intelligence.senate.gov/0209hrg/020926/witness.htm

May 10, 2000:

“Hazmi and Mihdhar finally found a room to rent in the home of an individual they had met at a mosque in San Diego. According to the homeowner, the future hijackers moved in on May 10, 2000. (…) Hazmi, on the other hand, stayed at this house for the rest of his time in California, until mid-December”

CR, 220

Comment: Funny that a “tested” undercover “asset” working for the local FBI becomes in the CR simply the “homeowner”.

“Nawaf Alhazmi and Khalid Almihdhar move to the house of Abdussattar Shaikh in San Diego.”

http://www.signonsandiego.com/news/nation/…6-sdattack.html

Shaikh, a local Muslim leader, is later revealed to be a “tested” undercover “asset” working with the local FBI.

(Newsweek, 9/9/02)

online: http://www.propagandamatrix.com/the_inform…e_hijackers.htm

Shaikh inexplicably fails to tell his FBI handler important details about the hijackers and appears to be lying about many matters concerning them. In early media reports, the two are said to have moved in around September

http://www.signonsandiego.com/news/nation/…6-sdattack.html

(Wall Street Journal, 9/17/01)

online: http://web.archive.org/web/20021029043912/…movedfreely.htm

http://web.archive.org/web/20020203115437/…tprofiles.story

but the 9/11 Congressional Inquiry implies that Shaikh lied about this, and they moved in much earlier. Alhazmi stays until December; Almihdhar appears to be mostly out of the US after June.

http://www.cooperativeresearch.org/timelin…arta072403.html

End of May 2000:

“Hazmi and Mihdhar had given up on learning how to fly.”

CR, 222

June 2000:

“A man named Mohdar Abdullah – recalled a trip with Hazmi and Mihdhar to Los Angeles in June when, on their arrival, the three went to the King Fahd mosque.”

CR, 216

June 9, 2000:

“Hazmi and Mohdar Abdullah accompanied him (Al Mihdhar) to Los Angeles”.

CR, 222

July 12, 2000:

“Nawaf al Hazmi filed to extend his stay in the United States, which was due to expire on July 14, 2000. Yet another opportunity to spot the suspicious indicator of extremism in his passport.”

(Terrorist Travel, 12)

Fall 2000:

“Hazmi no longer even pretended to study English or take flying lessons. Aware that his co-conspirators in Afghanistan and Pakistan would be sending him a new colleague shortly, he bided his time and worked for a few weeks at a gas station in La Mesa where some of his friends, including Abdullah, were employed. On one occasion, Hazmi told a fellow employee that he was planning to find a better job, and let slip a prediction that he would become famous.”

CR, 223

December 8, 2000:

“Hani Hanjour arrived in San Diego, having traveled from Dubai via Paris and Cincinnati. Hazmi likely picked up Hanjour at the airport. We do not know where Hanjour stayed; a few days later, both men left San Diego.

CR, 223

Mid-December 2000:

“He would then leave for Arizona with a newly arrived 9/11 hijacker-pilot, Hani Hanjour.”

CR, 220

“Hani Hanjour joined Hazmi in December 2000, after which the two of them lived in Phoenix for several months before driving across the country and linking up with other future hijackers in Northern Virginia.”

December 17, 2000 – January 9, 2001:

(p. 42ff)

From March 2001:

In 2004, an unnamed whistleblower involved in the Able Danger program will claim that prior to 9/11, Able Danger discovered that Atta and Alshehhi were renting a room at the Wayne Inn, and occasionally meeting with Nawaf Alhazmi and Khalid Almihdhar at the inn or near it. From March 2001 onwards, other alleged hijackers, including Alhazmi and Almihdhar, live in Paterson, New Jersey, only one mile away from Wayne.

http://edition.cnn.com/2001/US/09/26/inv.newjersey.cities/

Mid-March 2001:

Hijackers Ahmed Alghamdi, Majed Moqed, Hani Hanjour, and Nawaf Alhazmi stay for four days in the Fairfield Motor Inn, Fairfield, Connecticut. They meet with Eyad M. Alrababah, a Jordanian living in Bridgeport, who has been charged with providing false identification to at least 50 illegal aliens. This meeting takes place about six weeks before the FBI says Moqed and Alghamdi enter the US.

http://www.cooperativeresearch.org/timelin…uiry092602.html

Comment: Why does the CR clearly contradict the Inquiry Hearing? Maybe cause Moqed and Alghamdi weren’t at the time given by the Inquiry not yet officially in the US? See: May 8, 2001.

March 19, 2001:

Nawaf Al Hazmi purchased a Boeing 747-200, a Boeing 747-400, a Boeing 777-200 flight deck video and a video entitled “How Airline Pilot Should Look and Act”.

“Al-Hazmi was driving east along the interstate — about 50 miles after crossing into Oklahoma — when he was caught by radar going 85 mph. The speed limit was 70.

It was 6:06 p.m. April 1. Parkins would be with al-Hazmi 12 minutes.

He said the driver was short and spoke English well, but he can’t recall anything that was said.”

http://www.cooperativeresearch.org/timelin…oman012002.html

Comment: In got old tradition they are caught speeding. Please note that contrary to all other accounts where he barely speaks English Parkins points out that Nawaf spoke English well. Lack of geography: He was caught in Oklahoma. Does this pose any contradiction?

By as early as April 4, 2001:

“Hanjour and Hazmi had arrived in Falls Church, Virginia.

CR, 227

Early April, 2001:

“They made their way to a large mosque there (Falls Church, VA), the Dar al Hijra mosque, sometime in early April.”

“Rababah went to Hazmi and Hanjour’s apartment to pick them up for the trip to Connecticut. There he says he found them with new roommates – Ahmed al Ghamdi and Majed Moqed.”

Comment: The Inquiry gave for the same trip Mid-March as the time.

Mid-May – September 2001:

Hani Hanjour and Salem Alhazmi rent a one-room apartment in Paterson, New Jersey. Hanjour signs the lease. Nawaf Alhazmi, Saeed Alghamdi, and Mohamed Atta are also seen coming and going by neighbors. One unnamed hijacker has to be told by a neighbor how to screw in a light bulb.

http://www.washingtonpost.com/ac2/wp-dyn?p…9&notFound=true

(Associated Press, 10/7/01)

The 9/11 Commission’s account of this differs from previous press accounts, and has Hanjour and Nawaf Alhazmi (instead of his brother Salem) first moving to Paterson in mid-May.

(CR, 230)

According to an anonymous Able Danger official speaking to the Bergen Record, a US Army intelligence unit tasked with assembling information about al-Qaeda networks worldwide discovers that several of the 9/11 hijackers are taking rooms at motels in New Jersey and meeting together there. The intelligence unit, called Able Danger, which uses high-speed computers to analyze vast amounts of data, notices that Mohamed Atta and Marwan Alshehhi take a room at the Wayne Inn. After the existence of the Able Danger unit comes to light in 2005, Bergen Record columnist and reporter Mike Kelly says, “The connect-the-dots tracking by the team was so good that it even knew Atta conducted meetings with the three future hijackers. One of those meetings took place at the Wayne Inn.

http://www.northjersey.com/page.php?qstr=e…2Y3dnFlZUVFeXk5

The other two hijackers said to be present at the meetings, Nawaf Alhazmi and Khalid Almihdhar, periodically live in the town of Paterson, only one mile away from Wayne.

June 18, 2001:

“The INS belatedly approved Nawaf al Hazmi’s extension of stay to January 15, 2001. Technically, the application was late, since the INS received it in July 2000, after his length of stay had expired; they therefore should not have adjudicated it. However, even with this late adjudication Hazmi was still an overstay as of January 16, 2001. Hazmi never knew that his extension had been approved—the notice was returned as “undeliverable” on March 25, 2002.

(Terrorist Travel, 25)

June 19-25, 2001:

“Atta and Hazmi probably first met in the United States only when Hazmi traveled round-trip from Newark to Miami between June 19 and June 25.”

Summer 2001 B:

“Sometime over the summer, Alhamzi — along with Salem Alhamzi, another of the men aboard Flight 77 — left a trail in Fort Lee, N.J., just outside New York City. For $60, they rented a mail box at a Mailboxes, Etc. store in a mall, law enforcement officials say.”

(Knight Ridder, 9/28/01)

July 2001:

“Mohamed Atta, Abdul Aziz al Omari, Nawaf al-Hazmi, Salem al-Hazmi, Khalid al-Mihdhar, Ahmed Alghamdi, and Majed Moqed purchased personal identification cards at Apollo Travel in Paterson, New Jersey.

August 2001 B:

Alhazmi’s visa has already expired and he is in the country illegally.

http://www.cooperativeresearch.org/timelin…arta072403.html

Comment: Why didn’t he seek a visa that was valid till 911?

August 2001 C:

At least six 9/11 hijackers, including all of those who boarded Flight 77, live in Laurel, Maryland, from about this time. They reportedly include Hani Hanjour, Majed Moqed, Khalid Almihdhar, Nawaf Alhazmi, and Salem Alhazmi. Laurel, Maryland, is home to a Muslim cleric named Moataz Al-Hallak who teaches at a local Islamic school and has been linked to bin Laden. NSA expert James Bamford later states, “The terrorist cell that eventually took over the airliner that crashed into the Pentagon ended up living, working, planning and developing all their activities in Laurel, Maryland, which happens to be the home of the NSA. So they were actually living alongside NSA employees as they were plotting all these things.”

August 2001 D:

“Nawaf al-Hazmi and Hani Hanjour flew from Dulles International Airport to Los Angeles.

Each of the return flights for these hijackers had layovers in Las Vegas. To date, the purpose of these one-to-two day layovers is not known. However, with respect to travel to Las Vegas, we know that at least one hijacker on each of the four hijacked airplanes traveled to Las Vegas, Nevada sometime between May and August of 2001.”

http://intelligence.senate.gov/0209hrg/020926/witness.htm

August 13-14, 2001:

“Like Shehhi, Jarrah, Atta, and Waleed al Shehri before them, Hazmi and Hanjour each flew in first class on the same type of aircraft they would hijack on 9/11 (a Boeing 757), and on transcontinental flights that connected to Las Vegas. This time, however,Atta himself also flew directly to Las Vegas, where all three stayed on August 13-14.

August 14, 2001 A:

Alhazmi is witnessed in the Days Inn (Las Vegas at 4155 Koval Lane, near East Flamingo Road.) in Las Vegas.

“The witness said she could not say if Alhazmi was an actual guest at the Days Inn on Koval. His name did not appear in registration records there.”

http://www.reviewjournal.com/lvrj_home/200…s/17309944.html

“A former employee of the Days Inn (Las Vegas at 4155 Koval Lane, near East Flamingo Road.) (…) had a single encounter with Alhazmi during the first two weeks of August in the lobby of the Days Inn.

She tried to make small talk, and Alhazmi said he was briefly staying in Las Vegas on “important business” and would soon be traveling to Los Angeles.

“He was not a very nice person, cold and abrupt,” she said. “He appeared to be waiting for someone.”

(…) The woman said Alhazmi, a native of Saudi Arabia, told her he was taking a trip to Los Angeles. She said he asked for a list of Days Inn properties located in that area, including the city of Whittier. She provided him the list, but he would not let her make a reservation and did not give her his name.

(…) The witness said she could not say if Alhazmi was an actual guest at the Days Inn on Koval. His name did not appear in registration records there.

(…) The witness said she called the FBI immediately after recognizing Alhazmi’s picture on television in late September. “God, I know that guy,” she said of her reaction the moment she saw Alhazmi’s picture on television.

(…) She said there was no mistaking the man’s eyes, and that she picked out Alhazmi’s photo when interviewed by the FBI as well.

http://www.reviewjournal.com/lvrj_home/200…s/17309944.html

Comment I: This encounter in the first half of August should be the same as the one noted for August 14.

Comment II: Nawaf on the photo is hardly “almost underfed”. Therefore the witness account of the Nawaf Alhazmi at Dulles Airport on 911 is in stark contradiction to the Nawaf seen here in Las Vegas.

Co-owner Henry Hagedoorn said that al-Hamzi rented a minivan and then two sedans between June and August, returning a Chrysler Concorde on September 1 after 10 days, with 1,000 miles listed as being put on the car.

Al-Hamzi had presented a Florida driver’s license as identification with an address in Delray Beach near a residence authorities believe as many as nine hijackers used. Al-Hamzi’s address on Lindell Avenue turned out to be non-existent.

In addition, their passport numbers and travel itinerary were to be recorded.192 These lookouts were not used by U.S. airlines to screen passengers seeking to fly on domestic flights.”

“Maria Siscar-Simpson opened her door to two skinny guys she had seen around her Delray Beach condo.

Just kids, she thought at first. But, judging by the rude force with which they pulled on her door, she corrected herself: Men.

They lived in the condo above hers. A rolled-up towel had fallen from their balcony onto a roof outside her back window. They wanted to get it now. They did not say please. Ms. Simpson pulled the door back and shouted, “No!” If they needed a towel, she could get them one.

They looked confused. She told them again in English, Spanish, Italian. They shouted at her and pulled again, determined to get in.

Thank God for Eddie the maintenance man, Ms. Simpson, 54, thinks today. Her pre-Sept. 11 hero.

He shouted the men away.”

http://www.sptimes.com/2002/09/01/911/Flor…ror_s_lau.shtml

Comment : As at Dulles Airport Nawaf is described as skinny. Yet on his official photo hints at a fact that his weight documented on his ID underlines: 148 lb (67 kg) with 5’ 4’’ (162 cm) is hardly what you can describe as “skinny”!

And here we do have apparently the same double of Nawaf living being in Delray Beach.

The registration card shows that as identification, Alhamzi gave a New York State driver license, listing 161 Lexington Ave. in Manhattan as his address. The building is a hotel whose records show he never stayed there. The New York State Department of Motor Vehicles said it had issued no license to someone with that name. “He was very polite,” said Patel’s wife, Indira, recalling that Alhamzi arrived late and left early. “Whatever I said, he said, ‘OK, OK.’”

However, neighbors at the San Diego apartment complex where the three lived are clear in their assertions that all three were there until days before 9/11. For instance, one article states, “Authorities believe Almihdhar, Hanjour and Alhazmi … moved out a couple of days before the East Coast attacks.

Ed Murray, a resident at the complex, said that all three “started moving out Saturday night-and Sunday (September 9) they were gone.

Three hijackers, Hani Hanjour, Khalid Almihdhar, and Nawaf Alhazmi, check into the same hotel as a prominent Saudi government official Sami Omar Hussayen, nephew of Saleh Ibn Abdul Rahman Hussayen.

Investigators have not found any evidence that the hijackers met with the official, and stress it could be a coincidence.

However, one prosecutor working on a related case asserts, “I continue to believe it can’t be a coincidence.”

The official, Saleh Ibn Abdul Rahman Hussayen, is interviewed by the FBI shortly after 9/11, but according to testimony from an FBI agent, the interview is cut short when Hussayen “feign(s) a seizure, prompting the agents to take him to a hospital, where the attending physicians (find) nothing wrong with him.” The agent recommends that Hussayen “should not be allowed to leave until a follow-up interview could occur.” However, that “recommendation, for whatever reason, (is) not complied with.” Hussayen returns to Saudi Arabia a few days later, as soon as the US ban on international flights has ended.

(…) The Hazmi brothers were also selected for extra scrutiny by the airline’s customer service representative at the check-in counter. He did so because one of the brothers did not have photo identification nor could he understand English, and because the agent found both of the passengers to be suspicious. The only consequence of their selection was that their checked bags were held off the plane until it was confirmed that they had boarded the aircraft. (…) A short time later (after 7:35), Nawaf and Salem al Hazmi entered the same checkpoint. Salem al Hazmi cleared the metal detector and was permitted through; Nawaf al Hazmi set off the alarms for both the first and second metal detectors and was then hand-wanded before being passed. In addition, his over-the-shoulder carry-on bag was swiped by an explosive trace detector and then passed. The video footage indicates that he was carrying an unidentified item in his back pocket, clipped to its rim.”

If the ID found in the rubble of the Pentagon is indeed the one from Nawaf (it is presented only as “Partial ID card reading ALHAZMI from the Pentagon crash site” and the indicated address Lexington points much more to him then to Salem, see “September 1, 2001 A) then his given height is 5’ 6’’

“(Nawaf) Alhamzi was about 5 feet, 4 inches, and thin, Ratchford said. She described him as a polite man who paid his rent on time and never caused trouble. “He didn’t stick out,” Ratchford said. Alhamzi’s English was sketchy, but he was outgoing. In the mornings, he often stopped by the rental office and said hello to the managers. He drank coffee and ate cookies with them.”
